I've been interested in genealogy for a long time and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend in cemeteries, whether it's for my own benefit or someone else's. |
If anyone wants to use headstone pictures that I post, feel free -- no royalties required. I'm also happy to take any other pictures of the area that you would like -- let me know what you want and I will do my best.
If you have any additional information that you would like added to memorials that I manage, let me know. I want each memorial to be as complete and accurate as possible. I'm also happy to transfer memorials to relatives/friends who want to manage them, so please don't create a duplicate. I believe that memorials are best taken care of by the people who loved them.
My ultimate goal is to photographically document all of the cemeteries in my area so that the existence of the people buried there is available to future generations and to ensure that people who can't visit on their own can still see a picture of the stone.
Note re Kirkland Cemetery: This is a heavily treed cemetery and many of the stones are covered in moss. If there is a particular stone that you would like re-photographed, feel free to let me know and I will see what I can do to clean up the stone.
-- Cedar Lawns (done)
-- Kirkland Cemetery (Done. Many, many unmarked graves in this cemetery. Many stones very deteriorated.)
-- Redmond Community Cemetery (Done)
-- Sunset Hills (The outside is complete, with only the Sunset Mausoleum left to finish)
Although I have marked a cemetery as done, new graves may have been added and/or I may have missed a couple, despite my best efforts to be organized.

Mary: Thank you for the transfer. I add words that shouldn't be there quite often. My Wife keep telling me to read it before I send message!!!

I don't know anything about Charles Taylor. Ella Taylor's maiden name was Hard. They are probably not related to your Taylors.
Mineral is not the same as it used to be. It might make you sad to see the old neighborhood.
Have a wonderful holiday.

The memorials for Morris & Oma have been transferred to you.
Merry Christmas to you...

In response to your note...I started looking through my photos of the Garden of Hope section that I am transcribing for Find A Grave and found Mrs. Wixson gravesite photo and will get it posted today.
I just hadn't got to that part of the photos just yet. After I get it posted would you like to have the memorials transferred to you? Just leave me a message...
Have a nice day.
