I've been interested in genealogy for a long time and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend in cemeteries, whether it's for my own benefit or someone else's. |
If anyone wants to use headstone pictures that I post, feel free -- no royalties required. I'm also happy to take any other pictures of the area that you would like -- let me know what you want and I will do my best.
If you have any additional information that you would like added to memorials that I manage, let me know. I want each memorial to be as complete and accurate as possible. I'm also happy to transfer memorials to relatives/friends who want to manage them, so please don't create a duplicate. I believe that memorials are best taken care of by the people who loved them.
My ultimate goal is to photographically document all of the cemeteries in my area so that the existence of the people buried there is available to future generations and to ensure that people who can't visit on their own can still see a picture of the stone.
-- Cedar Lawns (all graves photographed and uploaded to FAG)
-- Redmond Community Cemetery (all graves photographed and uploaded to FAG)
-- Sunset Hills (in progress. I feel like I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I only have a couple of sections, and the mausoleum, left to photograph.)

Thanks even though there is no stone. At least I know where he is at.

I can appreciate your struggle. It is just that I think that the Funeral Program must be accurate, at least one hopes so. It is hard to know for sure though, I do understand.

I am a Washington DC "Washingtonian"! I have friends in the state of WA and it's a beautiful state, but I live on the east coast.

Thanks for trying to take a photo of his headstone. Much appreciated.

I wanted to let you know that you are right, could not link Margaret A. Warwick to my Margaret. It shows on my Great Uncle Clarence Earl Warwick's memorial #66260306, that he married Margaret V.(Victoria) Winninghoff in 1934, which I have established to be true. Would love to find her place of rest.
Thank you for the lesson in researching, I am still learning.

Please add "Brooklyn" between her date of berth
and place of berth.
It's found in the first line of her obit.

Thanks so much for the info and for taking the photo of the plot. This is my daughter-in-law's aunt and uncle and I can't imagine why they don't have a marker yet. I will check on this with her (she lives in Ohio). If I ever hear that a marker has been placed, I will request the grave photo again. Appreciate your efforts and also for the photo for for Robert Reed, who is an uncle on her mom's side of the family. Findagrave folks are so nice! Diane
