I am retired with a passion for genealogy and family histories. The major family names I am researching are Mortensen; Wolfe; Mooney and Briggeman. These families cover a span from Denmark and Ireland to Illinois, Montana and Idaho. |
I am also researching my husband's families: McClary, Harter, Tasker, Donaldson and Feys.
You can find all of my family trees, research and thousands of obituaries posted at rootsweb.com. I am dedicated to the sharing of genealogy history!
My current (additional) project is photographing the graves in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Seattle, WA. I have access to the Seattle Times on-line and attempt to add obituaries with complete death dates, etc. If I have posted a member of your family and you would like a transfer or updates and links to a memorial, please use the "Edit" button on the memorial.
Life is mostly froth and bubble,
Two things stand in stone.
Kindness in another's trouble,
Courage in your own.

|Liz Curtis||RE: Thomas and Thankful Curtis|
Thanks I have started linking their children using the find a grave numbers, thank you for all the work you do.
|Valerie Anderson||Donald Eugene McCabe|
Donald Eugene McCabe 1912-1936
Donald is a member of the Slater/Anderson family tree.
I beleive that the mother of Donald is Ora Agnes (Slater) McCabe and not Elizabeth Reevey. Donald's paternal grandmother was Elizabeth Reeves.
Please note that Donald is buried next to his mother.

Thanks for all the information you sent... I've been doing a bit more research on this family. I am not convinced that Wilmer and Ida are children of this couple. Will continue to research.
|Robert Stroup||RE: Lloyd Stroup|
I signed up to help also. I am in TN. Is it as simple as take a picture and upload or do I have to research the headstones?
|Robert Stroup||Thank You|
I was through your Photo and Obituary that I finally linked my two twin Great Uncles Floyd and Lloyd Stroup and their resting/residents whom I had no information on after they left the Dakota's. I also was able to find their sister who I had no information on. Again Thank you

Thanks for your help. I was able to copy to my computer and enlarge it. I am uncertain now who is who. I have a photo taken of Charles when it was younger before the grey beard, and it confuses me more!

Do you know who provided the photo and how to contact them? Also how to contact the granddaughter of Fremont Curtis. I am having a hard time deciding which of the men in the picture is my ggrandfather as the older and younger ( which I can't post yet) pictures look so different. Hopefully, someone else will jump in.

Thanks for making the changes. I'm a really distant relative - he's the husband of a cousin 1x removed. I don't need to have his memorial. Thanks for asking. Bonnie
