|Bio and Links|
To all who read this bio or search my memorials please stop by and visit my dear Sister who died of Neuroblastoma, and my beloved Mother who's life was cut tragically short by ovarian cancer. |
Thanks to all of you who place flowers on the above memorials. I very much appreciate it.
My family interests are: Blew, Still, Mollet, Knable, Slaughter, Wright, Phillips, Pitman, Pittman, Stephenson, Dorrell, Teeter, Lingo, Essenpreis, Allison and Hofer.
I am originally from Rome, Peoria, Illinois, USA and now reside in Seattle, King, Washington, USA. Navy veteran, USS Oriskany (CV-34), USS Dubuque (LPD 8), Helmsman, Deck Division. I love the greater northwest especially the climate, people, mountains, and the famous Public Market.
I believe family should be with family so if I have anyone under my tutelage that is related to you (and not related to me) I would be glad to transfer the memorial, just ask...POLITELY. I love people that put all these rules in their bios, then run around and do the exact opposite of what they don't like or want others to do...ie Transfers.
If I find your request is abrupt, demanding or in any way construed to be mean, hateful or unpleasant, your request will be ignored. There is no reason to be this way.
I noticed that a lot of members are pulling word for word bios from Wikipedia w/out referencing the source. Plagiarism - stealing somebody's work or idea: the process of copying another person's idea or written work and claiming it as original. (Bing Dictionary) This is so wrong.
It is disrespectful not only to the military but to the service member who put their life on the line to defend our country to not put their rank in their name. You are to choose the closest to their rank if it is not listed. This is in the FAG rules. If you know it, list it out of respect.
Please do not post death certificates, obituaries, funeral home announcements or bio information in the virtual flowers section. If you would like this information posted, please send it through the Edit tab and then the Suggest any other correction or addition link. Also, I support anyone who adds a photo of their ancestors memorial for all who stop by to view.
Feel free to use any of the photos I have provided. I do not need to be referenced in this matter unless you feel the need. I do, however, appreciate anyone that does reference me.
I've had a lot of help along the way and I appreciate each and every one of you! If not for the first family tree I received from my aunt, I would never have started this 7+ year journey I'm on. *hugs*

Do you still have your source for the edits you sent?
|Kim & JM Talboo||Blanche Beals|
I made the edit to Blanches mother as you noted. I am not related but am merely entering photos and information to cemeteries that I photograph as a volunteer on Find A Grave.
If you are interested in maintaining the memorial I would be happy to transfer it to you.

I have updated Joseph C. Steel's memorial (#74524379) with the additional information. Thanks for supplying me with this. I am always willing to make memorials more complete with new information.

Thanks for your help.
I found Lorna (Ollhoff) Olson at Mt Olivet in Renton, WA. The cemetery gave me her Plot location. Can find it on her Find A Grave site.
If you are close. It would be create to have a picture of her stone. Hopefully she has one.

The stone shared with hubby is NOT where she's buried. She's in the other cemetery under her middle name. The correct one (where's she actually buried) is a metal tablet applied to the stone base. I explained that in the "other" slot.
Please see complete info and change accordingly.
|Jean Bower||Irene Wingate - Mem#56850018|
Thank for for sharing information; I've updated her memorial but have some concerns. SSDI lists an Irene Wingate born 1/21/1912; died Oct 1978, who last resided in Philadelphia, PA. Irene shares marker with Linda Charlton who also last resided in Philadelphia.
If you run across obituary for either Irene or Linda, I would like to know more. One question I have is the relationship -- Linda could possibly be daughter or granddaughter of Irene's.
|Nancy Berntson||RE: Teeter Teter|
I usually read them because I haven't set my bio up as yet and am working on it, so it makes others interesting.
|KAO||RE: Sunry A Olson|
Thanks for transfering Sunry.
Are you close to Everett, WA ?
Frank and Lucy Ollhoff are buried at Evergreen Cemetery.
Would be cool to have a picture of their grave stone.
