BEWARE PEOPLE - Individual(s) other than yourself, have access to your profile and DO make changes without notifying you!!!!!

Please be a contributor to Findagrave and not just a manager of someone else's work. It's funny that people write all they have is what's posted on a memorial. Well folks - if you took the time and researched you WOULD find information to post & link family. Believe me, it's NOT that hard! In others words you ARE a manager and NOT a contributor. Please don't claim to be a historian and/or genealogist when you do NOT post any info on your memorials. And to those who take credit for all the research done by others, shame shame and shame on you.

My numbers are lopsided as I maintain memorials for mainly 2 people who became inactive on Findagrave and for a cousin who died. Memorials need to be maintained and I do transfer non-related people to relatives.

You MAY add death certificates to any memorials that I manage. This enables others, who do NOT have access to ancestry.com view their family member's death information; which has been made public. If the 5 photo limit is reached, I WILL sponsor that memorial.

There are some people, and you know who you are, that follow 'guide lines' in transferring memorials. You must be a numbers person! And for those people who criticize the photos posted and appear to be strickly a numbers person - SHAME ON YOU TOO and are a PITA!! If they aren't your relatives, why should you care. So, as the saying goes, 'if the shoe fits, wear it'. Now if you abide by the Findagrave guidelines for transfers, then so shall I.

Additionally, If you are one of those folks who disables your messages and has no email address listed, in other words, NO WAY TO CONTACT, absolutely 'no suggestions' will be acknowledged. If you are Anonymous, then you do not exist. Nothing personal, but sometimes I need to confirm things. If I cannot communicate with you one way or another and you cannot be bothered, that is fine I understand.

I and relatives I know constantly scour records and family records IN OUR POSSESSION. What is added is what we have checked and double checked. When we find documents that are exceptionally interesting and realize other relatives haven't had access to this information--we post it to their memorials.

I am a retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer, with over 28 years of federal civil service. To keep myself busy, I became a navigator/logistics specialist on my husband's rig. I am also the proud wife of a retired Army soldier and the very proud mother of a soldier, who was injured by an IED explosion and completed his tour of duty in Iraq.

It's the soldier, not the reporter who has given us Freedom of the Press. It's the soldier, not the poet, who has given us Freedom of Speech. It's the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the Freedom to Demonstrate. It's the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the Right to a Fair Trial. It's the soldier who salutes the flag, serves under the flag and whose coffin is draped by the flag. ~Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC~~GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!

If there are memorials I have created or maintain who are your family members, please send me a message and I will be more than happy to transfer them to you-no matter your blood generation with the following exceptions; if I have done extensive research or IF THEY ARE IN MY FAMILY TREE, MY HUSBAND'S FAMILY OR MY ADOPTED MOM'S FAMILY, then I will maintain the memorial(s).

The photos I post on Findagrave and ancestry.com may be used by one and all at any time, although no money is to be made from my photographs. Photo credit would be appreciated! This is a site for all to cherish for future generations with headstone photos of distant relatives never known and now, never to be forgotten.

Still doesn't work
I made a new password and username. It still doesn't work. And now I remember that I tried this a while back and it didn't work then.

I guess they just don't want me for some reason.

Oh, well.

RE: Forums
I can get to the forum. I just can't log in. Oh, well. It wasn't a huge part of my life.

Maybe I should try again.

Forums
I came here to contact you to see if you could help me.

For a while now, I have not been able to log into the forums. It says my password is wrong. I use the thing to get the password and it says it mailed it to me, but it didn't. I have tried several times.

I contacted admin, and the response told me how to log into this part of the site. I haven't had trouble with this part, so they were no help at all.

I was going to ask you if you could contact the forum admins to help me.

Something is wrong with this site. After reading about your profile being tampered with, I think I'd just as soon not use the forums anyway.

Good luck in catching the culprits.

RE: Thomas Quede
Might be "new " to Find A Grave but doing genealogy research for 42 years. My view on Find A Grave is simple - I find the graves , I photograph them and load the base data and photos to Find A Grave. It's not my role to do other peoples research. If people don't like what I have then perhaps I should delete every entry and just focus on my own needs.

Hi Pam,
Thanks for ther info. If you would like me to
transfer this memorial to you I will be glad to.
I along with Scott & Mike MOOse are trying to up-date 13 Volumes of Moose History by Carl & George
Moose. I will be glad to transfer any of my memorials to anyone kin. It started as a way to
pass time and turned into a great get my mind off my pain. I am in a wheel chair sometime and I have met so many people who gave me info or I can help them
with info to connect with their past. I love to
cemetery hop but I cannot do it any more so I depend
on info from cemetery records or people who send me
corrections or info.
I will shut up now,
Cindy

I Remember When
RE: Gerblady
She is relentless and is getting on everyone's nerves. I really thought the comment Tony put on her page hit the nail on the head. Another contributor I work with contacted one of the original administrators she works with about the problem. Hopefully she'll get a administrator note to lay off.
