Bio Photo LAST ON LINE: 24 Jun 2016

Retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer with over 29 years of service. I am also the wife of a retired US Army soldier and the mother of a soldier who was injured in Iraq from an IED but was able to complete his tour of duty! SUPPORT THE TROOPS!!!! Please Honor all our military without complaining on memorials!

My memorials are lopsided as I manage a deceased cousin's contributions to Findagrave.

TRANSFERS: I follow Findagrave's guidelines of the 4-generation rule for transfers; aunts/uncles/cousins are not included in the transfer rule. Consider creating a virtual cemetery to keep your relatives together. If the individual in the 4-generation rule transfer request is closer related to me or my family members, then I will maintain the memorial(s).

DEATH CERTIFICATES are welcomed on my memorials as they are in the public domain and, although at times there are errors, they can provide a wealth of information. I add them so individual's who cannot afford have access to their relative(s) documents. It's my way of paying back.

Findagrave is again changing special flowers and modifying bios if they don't approve.

SUGGESTIONS: For those making suggestions, please research and provide the researched information for me to update. Additionally; 1: If someone has a duplicate memorial, courtesy is to ask that individual to delete it FIRST before asking Findagrave to get involved, and 2. When you receive an edit request please DO NOT update the information you received and then decline the edit you received - that is just NOT cool!

HEADSTONE PHOTO VOLUNTEERS-If you volunteer and post headstone photos, please take a photo of the COMPLETE marker and please take the time to ensure your photos are posted as right side UP (not sideways or upside down). I find more and more that some individuals crop the bottom of the markers off & some post photos sideways and blame their computer program - especially on military grave sites, which does an injustice to our veterans. You took the time to take the photo, then PLEASE take the time to crop & post the headstone photo correctly.

Please don't create additional IDs and claim photo requests because you have used your allotted photo claims or you fail to take the photo in a timely manner and then reclaim it under another one of your IDs (which is illegal by Findagrave rules). We know who you are and, should the need arise, you will be reported to the Administrators for abusing the system.

SSDI-Regarding the "Last Residence" in the SSDI: This is the last address of record, not necessarily where the individual died. Please do not ask me to list it as the place of death on memorial pages - to do so would only be a guess.

I work hard on Findagrave and have sponsored quite a few memorials. Please be a contributor and not just a person who adds names. It's great to see the people who do provide research.

RE: Henry & Sister Rosanna Almond
Rosa married Israel Coble after Calvin Bunton. I guess her younger children took Israel's last name. Half of Rosa's children used Bunton and half used Coble. Some of her children show up in the census papers as Coble. Threw me for a while....I had a hard time finding Rosa as she married several times. My husband's aunt kept saying that they were related to Coble but I couldn't find the link until earlier this year. Rosa's death cert has her last name as Ayers. So it took me forever to find this woman....Nice to meet a cousin of my husband. And yes, I should have said Bunton...this woman has me running in circles. I haven't found much about Calvin Bunton as of yet.

RE: Bartholomew and Nancy Green
Tucson in 1917? Was that a newspaper article? As long as you are sleuthing would you please see if you can find them in the 1900 census? Did you notice that on one of the censuses three of the boys gave their language as both Spanish and English?

RE: Bartholomew and Nancy Green
Well, maybe you really are Sherlock's cousin. How did you find that newspaper article? There are a couple of things about both the article and the death certificate that bother me. The article has a young Nancy Green arriving in Arizona in a wagon in 1881. On the 1880 census, Nancy is no longer with her parents as she was in 1870. Bartholomew is with his parents in 1880. On the 1910 census, Nancy said that her marriage with Bartholomew was a second marriage. I think she had married some unknown person by 1880 and something happened to him before she married Bartholomew. The article just does not make sense to me, but it is useful for pinpointing her grave. The thing about the death certificate is that her mother was Martha J Copeland who married Alfred Churchill on 11 Jan 1855 in Rusk County, TX. Alfred was in Rusk County for the 1850 census and Martha was enumerated there also with her parents Wiley and Nancy Copeland. She was 12. According to every census, Martha was born in Miss. Martha was alive for the 1990 census and was dead by 1910 when Alfred was living with Bartholomew and Nancy. My guess was that Bartholomew's memory was failing. Thank you so much for the extra research and for creating the memorials.

RE: Henry Green Memorial
Thank you. Just after I sent the message I decided to try Arizona death index online and found death certificates for Bartholomew and for Nancy. Unfortunately for me Nancy died first in 1935 and Bartholomew was the informant and the information matches closely. When Bartholomew died in 1937, the informant was their son Roy and he didn't know anything. Both died in Willcox, Cochise County, but I can't find them in Find-a-Grave.

RE: Hello Cousin Sherlock
Thanks, I requested headstones. Interested, but not related to the Wrights. Hubbards in Dorchester County, yes, but not as far as I know in Caroline County.

RE: Hello Cousin Sherlock
Thanks, I know that, but I also posted that he is buried in Hillcrest. I am asking you, which is right, because you know far more about the Wrights than I do.

Hello Cousin Sherlock
Somewhere in the past I placed some of the Wright family in Hillcrest Cemetery and also (the same people) in Concord Cemetery. A case in point is William H. Wright 1829-1906. You placed a flower on the memorial in Concord Cemetery and from what I can determine, Concord is the correct cemetery. I have some links to Wm and his wife that are also wrong. I am going to try to straighten out my mess by leaving Wm in Concord Cemetery along with his wife Eliza and delete there memorials in Hillcrest. I will wait for a day or two and, unless I hear otherwise, I will delete and correct my links. Regards.
