|Richard Clark||Thomas and Sarah King|
I am searching for my Great-Great Grandmother and Grandfather I found their grave listings in Grandview Cemetery, Sidney, Fremont County, Iowa. They list the same plot number for each. I know that Thomas and Sara King were the parents names of Charles Thomas King as they are listed in his obituary. The Years of birth and death fit into the timeline so I was wondering if you had any more facts about them. If you do have information or if you believe they are Charles's parents please contact me.
Thank You, Richard Clark
|Earl DeHaven||Pharagus Monroe Pollard|
My great-grandmother, Rachel Frances Pollard Dugger, was a sister of Pharagus. She married David A. Dugger in Tennessee before they moved to Nebraska. David served in the same company of the 2nd Nebraska Cavalry as Pharagus. To make a very long story short: Pharagus' daughter, Elizabeth Jane, married Joseph Kunze and moved to the Eldorado, Kansas area which is near to Wichita, where her cousin, and my grandmother, Sarah E. Dugger Monasmith lived. I met "Aunt Jane" (actually my cousin) when I was about 7 years old in 1933. I have a vivid memory of her describing the sacking of Lawrence, Kansas by the guerilla Quantril in 1863, about 28 days after her father died in South Dakota. She was a survivor of the raid. I have pictures of Rachel Pollard as a young woman and also near thetime that she died in 1896 in Wichita.

It looks like you are my 4th-cousin. E-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll send you what I have on the Pollards.
Good to hear from you.

Which of Pharagus Pollard's children are you descended from?
|Richard Merrill Coatney Portschy Mann||RAY - LYNCH|
Hello. Can you tell me the connection between the RAY family and the LYNCH family, in Humboldt please? My ancestors, Thomas S. Lynch, and his wife, Lavina Ann [FRAZIER] Lynch, founded Lynchburg Cemetery, where so many RAY's are buried. I'm trying to tie them all together. My name is Richard Mann, and I live in Gladstone Missouri. My son is also buried out at Lynchburg, among his own. I am:
Richard Mann, son of
Richard Lee Mann, son of
Robert Thomas Mann, son of
Helen Grinstead Allen, daughter of
Thomas McClellan Allen, son of
Sarah Catherine [LYNCH] Allen, daughter of
