Bio

I usually add data from the person's obituary, if available, as that is the information the person's family selected to be publicly displayed as the person's memorial and image. Next the federal and state census records may provide the only remaining conveniently accessible source data on non famous persons and thus I try to add when possible, after all, not all persons were, as Rudyard Kipling put it, 'Captains and Kings'. Plus in the future if a descendant wishes to research further, the pure factual data currently available is here for them to use as a starting point. All my photos may be used as wanted as I took them to share; source credit would be appreciated. Please feel free to add your photos if you have a picture of the person or if you have a picture of the monument taken at a different time of day that shows it more clearly. Please advise any additions or corrections with the 'edit tab'. Your research is welcome ! I will transfer any memorials of your relatives if requested except my family tree.

Incidentally, I'm the Past President of Black Point Cemetery in Scarborough, Maine.

Surnames in my & spouse's direct lines include
