I love exploring and photographing old cemeteries in Maine. I am especially familiar with Androscoggin, Cumberland, Hancock, and York counties. I am a Greater Portland History docent and a member of SpiritsAlive.com, the overseers of Eastern Cemetery in Portland, Maine|

|Terri Burris||RE: Alger Geary correction|
Hi Ben, I did not know him personally. I found the information to add to his memorial while I was researching my Geary family line. I don't believe that I am related to him though. Many thanks for all your contributions here on Find a Grave!
|Forrest Pettengill||Thank you Ben|
I appreciate the time you took to take these photos. Thank you so much.
Ben I want to thank you for taking the time to locate and photographing the head stones of my ancestors. Your unselfishness has enabled me to document my family's tree for generations to come. Again thank you

Ben G, Thanks for the photo of Judith Trowbridge's headstone. I am sure it wasn't easy to get a good shot and I appreciate your effort and time. Have a great day.

You tried to find the father of tiny Sylvanus Ling Jr. Apparently the graves of the father and son were not marked or the marker has disappeared over the years. Thank you for trying

Thanks for trying to find his grave Based on his age at death, I am wondering if the family even had a marker for him.
Thanks again for contributing to the Find A Grave community

Always disappointing when the hunt leads to an unmarked lot, but I guess this goes with the territory. I do appreciate the time and effort that you took to go out and look.

Ben, Thanks so much for looking. Your time and efforts are truly appreciated.
Thanks for getting a picture of the plot. No doubt the stone, if there ever was one, has sunk or was damaged and removed. The plot photo is a good reference.
