Lord, what did we ever do without computers?! I didn't know I had so much free time to cruise the WWW....|
I would like to suggest when making photo requests, please take into consideration the size of the cemetery. Many times large cemeteries do not have staff at hand to assist grave hunters and an attempt to include grave locations in photo requests would be so helpful.
I have become obsessed with researching incomplete memorials I run across on Findagrave (they are generally unrelated to me). If I am not well enough to get out and about, I turn to many online resources in order to fill in the blanks if I can. (IMO:) It brings the memorials more to life and provides the deceased with a completed life cycle in their final resting places. If not directly related to me, transfers will be made to those who explain their relationship. I have had to suspend any outdoor cemetery activity due to health reasons: COPD & congestive heart failure topped with breast cancer surgery. If my situation should change, I will edit my profile.
4-8-13 Just exited the hospital after 7 days (Heart/Copd complications) and am homebound. Gettin' old ain't for sissies.
6-2013 Devastating news: breast cancer diagnosis! Biopsy done, results this week but sonogram looked really bad to me.
7-3-13 Pet Scan(searching for any metastases), no results yet. Doctors should have to experience tests they send us to try out! Pet Scans are not a walk in the park. Will post again.
7-15 still waiting (ahh...surgeon back from vacation 8/5)
8-7: Pet scan negative; no metastasis. But...must endure a mastectomy after cardiologists clears me for surgery. Lumpectomy not recommended and doc wants to make sure he gets it all (me too!).
8-16: Cleared for surgery; Dr. E will discuss on Monday a time schedule.
9-3: Surgery date and will be laid up for a while in case someone is looking for a message from me. I opted for lumpectomy/radiation/possible chemo in lieu of mastectomy/chemo. Choice was mine as both outcomes would have been virtually the same as my surgeon discussed them.
9-8: Surgery over, I'm on the mend, and this is the first time I've felt like looking my computer; the first appt with surgeon 9/12 and radiation (I assume) begins after the healing.
10-3: It's been a month and problems exist with infection/edema. Oncologist will not do chemo because of my heart history; says it would kill me. Good thing I opted for the lumpectomy! Have had more appts and seen so many different docs I am thoroughly depressed. Findagrave friends lift my spirits AND 'A Second Chance Rescue' (all one word on Ustream.tv) - a family of kittens that will be up for adoption in a couple of weeks. They are adorable and fun to watch when they're awake.
10-27: Well, radiation treatments finally begin tomorrow for 7 weeks, 5 days per week. An infection in the tissue area of my lumpectomy has delayed rad treatments until now. Will post again.
10-28: 1st of 34 treatments not so bad, but not a walk in the park! It will be difficult to endure the schedule daily for 7 weeks, but I must persevere.
11-1: One week down, six to go!
11-8: Two weeks down, five to go!
11-15: Three down, 4 to go!
11-22: Four down, 3 to go! (very painful)
11-25: Wounds too raw; put me on one week of rest
12-2: Aspiration for fluid build up and another week off radiation to further heal burns. This is a real drag and I am close to giving up!
Thanks for all the well wishes I have received! Many of you have sent such glorious words of encouragement for which I am very grateful. dianne_m43701~at~yahoo dot com.

Of the Davis memorials I transferred to you, delete the ones that are duplicates. If you prefer I delete ones that have not been transferred to you, please send a correction with the word "delete". The person maintaining the memorial can delete the memorial. You do not need to transfer them back to me for me to delete them. Thanks!

I did find where she is buried-First addition to southwest quarter, Row 5, Lot 11, Second North-Line burial. Hope this helps. For some reason my request for photo from her memorial page site is not going through. The staff indicates that she does have a gravestone. Thank you.

Hello Diane- Hope you are feeling a little better this day of Nov. 29, 2013 than you have been. Sorry for all the chemo-. I read that Greenwood Cemetery is huge and a burial location would be helpful. Would it be possible for you to get the phone number of the Cemetery in Zanesville for me? It would be helpful. Thank you for your kind assist. I tried to look it up on the web, and have had no luck.
