My Sympathy
My Friend Jackie, I had become somewhat worried because I had not heard from you in several days. I decided to check your page and discovered the information concerning the loss of your brother. Even though we have never met nor even talked, I feel that in some small way I know you. I believe genealogists are like golfers. In some way genealogists come in contact and communication with one another and because they have so much in common they relate as though they know each other. As much time as you have spent in "my" cemetery in Big Sandy as well as taking pictures of all my family there [and believe me there are a lot of them there!] I do feel that we are friends. So even though we have never met face to face, I offer my thoughts and prayers for you and yours during this time.

May God hold you and yours safely in his loving arms!

With my deepest sympathy,

Sorry to Hear of Your Brother's Passing
I stopped by to leave a virtual flower for Craig and noticed the passing of your brother on his mom's memorial where it listed siblings. I just wanted to express my condolences. I will have the family in my thoughts and prayers.
I don't remember if I met you briefly at Craig's funeral or not, it was such a sad time, but I've seen your work with the Find A Grave community, and you've inspired me to get more involved. Well, again sorry to find out about your brother. Your sister was a wonderful lady, and I'll never forget her.

Hi Jackie. Well, I just proved how technically challenged I am with the previous email. I hit the wrong key and poof there it is.

Any way thank you for all the Beck and Trinkle transfers. I hope you and yours have a great weekend!

RE: Question ?
oh wow that is crazy, I cant believe they would do something that would hurt the stones. Well I guess I can too.

I use water and a walmart gift card to get the moss off and then I use corn starch in a sock to bring out the writing (it wont hurt the stone) and use a paint brush to clean it out when I'm done. I have seen some where people use paint and roller.

there is some stuff called 3D (I think) to clean the black stuff off the old stones and suppose to make them look new again, but I been told that it's like $50.00 a gallon. I cant do all that, I could use a 55 gal. drum full at just one of the cemeterys I am going to redo when it gets cooler.
