My regular email hasn't been working. If you need to communicate please contact me here. Thank you.
I try to get my information as near correct as possible by researching many, and any, available resource. But, this is a hobby for me so, please, don't expect perfection. I'm always pleased and glad to receive corrections. Because this helps me to tweek that person's memorial to try to get it as near perfect as possible. I'm learning genealogy with each new memorial I create. I'm not a professional researcher. Please help me by including your source of information. I'm always glad to add information, change information when I'm wrong, and I will transfer management of memorials to anyone requesting me to do so whenever asked. It doesn't matter to me whether the memorial is your family or an interest you have in that particular surname. My paternal lineage is Robertson and Staples and my maternal lineage is Johnston and Sampson.
Strangers in The Box
Come, look with me inside this drawer, In this box I've often seen, At the pictures, black and white, Faces proud, still, and serene.
I wish I knew the people, These strangers in the box, Their names and all their memories, Are lost among my socks.
I wonder what their lives were like, How did they spend their days? What about their special times? I'll never know their ways.
If only someone had taken time, To tell, who, what, where, and when, These faces of my heritage, Would come to life again.
Could this become the fate, Of the pictures we take today? The faces and the memories, Someday to be passed away?
Take time to save your stories, Seize the opportunity when it knocks, Or someday you and yours, Could be strangers in the box.

 | Sarah Samson Transcription from gravestone of Sarah Samson in Hillcrest Cemetery HERE LYES BODY OF SARAH SAMSON WIFE TO ISAAC SAMSON WHO DECd JULY 2d 1733 IN 38TH YEAR OF HER AGE
This would put her birth date at abt 1695. There is no mention of Barlow on the stone. However the Plympton Vital Records indicate her maiden name was Barlow.
Source: Roser, Susan E. Mayflower Births and Deaths: From the Files of George Ernest Bowman at the Massachusetts Society of Mayflower Descendants. Volumes 1 & 2. Baltimore, MD: Genealogical Publishing Company, Inc., 1992. on p.321 She is listed as Sarah BARLOW, b. c.1695, d. 2 July 1733, 38th yr., Plympton g.s. Wife of Isaac Samson. Children listed: Hannah, Uriah, Sarah, John and Margaret.
I have not found any reference to Sarah Barlow Samson's parentage in the few records I have looked at.
If I find anything else on the Sally Sampson buried in Middleborough, MA I will let you know.
