Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Maine and all my folks are from the south. So the cemeteries I take pictures of are no relation to me. If anyone would like a transfer so they can add more info or connect their family members feel free to ask. I try to connect family members if I know for sure they are related but I don't always know for sure.

Sorry, Cheryl, the one you have that I am referring to is Edwin E. Pert.

Cheryl, I have a lovely early photo that was in my mother's photo album after she died. This photo is just handwritten on the back Ernest Pert. As all my mother's people were from Franklin County, Maine, I believe that your Elmer E. is this same person. I would love to put this photo up for the descendants of this man, but not sure if this is the right man. I have no other information on him, but being buried in New Sharon, Maine, in Franklin County, I'm pretty sure this is the right person. What should I do?

Thank you so much for transferring Andrew to us.
His tombstone was the 1st family tombstone we found when we visited Farmington, Maine, over 10 years ago.

RE: Edits ??
Yeah ... the edits were a complete surprise to me as well .... They didn't tell anyone about them for some reason.

Enjoy your 12 hour shift by the way .... I retired last December ... LOL :-)

Edits ??
Hey Cheryl, I've left a number of "Edits" for you to process .... Since the "automatic" edit feature is relatively new on Find A Grave ... are you aware that it is there??

If not, go to your Find A Grave homepage and at the top you will see "Edits" with a number shown there. By clicking on that you will see the edits that others have sent for some of your records.

It took me and a lot of others a while to catch on to this. :-)

Thanks, Russ

RE: Bunker Clark
Thank you so much. That would be so appreciated.

It would mean a lot to me, to know where he is. And his wife, too.

I feel bad for him because he was at Ticonderoga and yet the DAR does not have him listed as a Patriot and his grave is nowhere to be found.

I think he deserves better treatment by history than that. :)

Thanks so much for all you do. You're one of the really good ones here on find a grave!! :)

Thank you
Thank you so much for the transfer of Lavinia Davis.

I have added her parents' links and written her a biography.

I will continue adding as I find more about her line.

If you are at all interested in what else I said in the request please let me know, I will send you my email, privately.

Thank you.

PS I am still reading about Moses and I have his file to finish reading as well. Then I will write his biography in a fuller way. There is a lot on him.

Thank you so much for the transfer of Moses Chandler.

I am wiped out for today but, will work on putting together a bio for him asap. He is a fascinating historical figure. I want to make sure my quotes and attributions are correct too before I post it etc.

I will continue to add to it as I find more.

Thank you! xx

Hi Cheryl,
Got your message and yes, I am happy to do my part to oversee this memorial; not quite sure what I need to do...or do you transfer it for me?
Thanks again for your excellent work. Both sides of my family are from Maine for many generations and I've come across your contributions quite often. Whenever I download (upload?) a cemetery or headstone photo of yours to my family trees I always give your name as photo credit as a Find A Grave volunteer. I feel strongly about helping people realize the importance of credit for this important photography contribution though I guess it's not "required."
Best wishes,
Judy Cole
