Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm David, and one of my many hobbies involves genealogy and family history, which I have pursued more than 30 years. I have watched Find A Grave's growth over the last several years and have found it to be an important and very useful resource. Hence, I have elected to become a more active participant, as time permits. As a volunteer, my prime interest is in assisting other genealogists and family historians in obtaining photographs of the graves of their kin.

Capt. Ellis Brooks Rittenhouse, USN, Ret.
Mr. Knight,

Thank you so very much for taking the time to post the photograph of Captain Rittenhouse's grave marker at the "Punch Bowl."

While I never had the honor of meeting him, I have been in communication with his Son and Daughter. Quite possibly I will be able to finally meet Ellis Brooks Rittenhouse, Jr. later this year.

Captain Rittenhouse was my Mother's favorite cousin. She was always so proud of him. Mother's maiden name: Marjorie Elizabeth Rittenhouse.

Again, thank you! You provide a great service to those of us who have loved ones interred in areas out of our reach!

Most respectfully,
Michael Robert Dutton
