Bio and Links
Bio Photo PLEASE use the edit tab on the memorial to send edits and other corrspondence related to specific memorials. It just makes things much easier and you will get a quicker response. Requests left in the message section take a back seat as it leaves the task of locating the correct memorial you are referring to for us to figure out which may or may not happen right away, if at all.

Not sure of the thought processes and attitudes of some fellow members of late. Let's try to do things correctly and not jeopardize the integrity of the site.

A reminder - playing nicely reaps more rewards than rude demands. Realize that we have invested a great deal of time and effort in setting up the many memorials we have entered.

It is not necessary to "own" a memorial to make changes. We strive to make all edits, corrections and links in a timely manner. Please give us a few days to accomplish that. Again - please use the edit tab for this purpose.

Please have verified the information you submit - we have received many edit requests lately that we have had to reject - just because the name is the same, don't assume that it is the same person you are researching (i.e., usually people that die in 1893 were not born in 1760).

We want to help get people linked together and appreciate everyone that has added links for our family members as well.

We are no longer entering census info on memorials - if you want to track that, please go on over to

We will gladly transfer to other members those memorials falling within the FindaGrave guidelines.

When requesting a transfer, please indicate what the relationship to you is. If it is outside the guidelines, we will consider on a case by case basis. A major factor we look at includes how much of a contribution the requester has made to this website.

We spend a lot of time photographing gravestones, editing and uploading. Please respect the copyright issues on our photos, do not "lift" them without asking.

Let's work together to add value to this site, not fight over who "owns" what.

And let's be courteous to one another.

Wow! That was fast! Thank you so much! Very nice of you to post these photos. And I see your entries on Margaret Lawson-Burrill and Josephine Lawson, as well. Margaret was a daughter of John and Josephine a daughter-in-law! I so appreciate your help here! Have a great Thanksgiving!

Hi, I had to leave a public message sine the edit I attempted required a memorial # I didn't have. I believe this person is Sally Cragin, who was the first wife of Josiah Parker Paine, my ggg-grandfather. They had 2 sons, Simeon, who died several months after his mother (at 15 mos and also buried here) and Josiah Jr. Sally died in 1821 and Josiah married my ggg-grandmother, Rebecca Gray, the same year. I have been unable to locate their graves. I don't think her husband was Joshua. Can you help with this? Thanks in advance:)

Hattie Rae (Sipprell) Mundie
Thank you for your speedy addition of a photo for Hattie. This should also confirm that her correct name is Hattie & not Mattie (unless some family member chose Mattie as a nickname but I doubt that). Likely Harriet was her full name but any records I found have only 'Hattie'. Sometimes it seems that this monument for a family member is as close as we will get in regards to a 'picture' or of getting closer to them. In the 1910 census, her daughter, Geraldine is listed as an 'adopted' daughter.
Thanks again. Elaine
P.S. F.Y.I. If that picture was taken here where I live in Ontario, to-day it would have a few inches of snow also, as we have snow early this year.
