Anton Andersen & Sailors' Snug Harbor Cemetery
I noticed that you had created a memorial for Anton Andersen who is interred at the Sailors' Snug Harbor Cemetery. Are you a descendant of Anton's? I'm also a descendant of a mariner who resided at Sailors' Snug Harbor and is interred at the SSH Cemetery. If you are interested in more information about the SSH Cemetery and where to find Anton's SSH Records, I can help you. You can contact me at the email address listed on my member name profile.

RE: William Daniel Procak
Yes, I am a Procak. My father was William Daniel (Bill). He is not buried in a cemetary. He moved from NY to TN in May 2004 and he passed away on 04/15/06. I'm new to this site so if you can add it for me it would be greatly appreciated. Do you know if you have any relation too John Procak (my grandfather)?

Good Morning,

Everything you did is fine with me. Leaving your dates does not bother me. Both of our death dates are wrong. Yours is too early and I hit the 8 instead of the 6 for 1876 but I am fine with whatever you want! Yes, I am new like about 2013 but I have learned a lot and it has been interesting.

Thank you and God Bless,

Marge Pearson

Hello Jo, the veteran's list you referred to, did it list their unit?
I do research on the 134th NY Volunteer Infantry having had an ancestor who served in the unit. A William H. Becker served in the 134th. He enlisted in 1862, at Gilboa, at the age of 24. Thanks for creating his memorial. Paul Turner

Sorry for not leaving my number. I just found Raymond Sarvis's son, Danny Sarvis that you added. I never got to see his grave stone. I have such nice memories of playing with Danny when we were kids. It brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for posting it. Would you transfer that to me too and I will link Ray and Danny?

Regards,

Can you transfer Raymond Sarvis's memorial to me? (120058779). We are first cousins once removed and I would like to link him to his parents.

Regards,
Jill

RE: Joseph D Sawyer 58598264
Hello,
Thank you for that information.
I think the stone photos on Marie C's page are mismatched.
My source says she b.1846 - d.1863.
In 1860 she is age 13, the dau of Joseph, Sr and Mary, [his 2nd wife], as the lower stone photo stone says.
Also, Marie's stone looks intact; the upper stone photo shows pieces.

I was drawn to this cem looking for Geo M. Sawyer, son of Jos, Sr. + Mary.
Geo M b.1835 - d.1865 is the closest of this family who died at age 31. He is a possible [but not likely] Civil War vet.

I focus on Sawyer CW vets, but I often link Sawyer families together when I can.
This family is likely relatives, but distant.
No transfer needed.
Thanks for the work you do.

Find A Grave Memorial# 58598264

Joseph D. is the son of Wealthy.

I also was concerned about the condition of the stone in the photo.
'age 31' is not much information to determine who is actually buried in that grave. IF you should happen to revisit ....
