Sorry for not leaving my number. I just found Raymond Sarvis's son, Danny Sarvis that you added. I never got to see his grave stone. I have such nice memories of playing with Danny when we were kids. It brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for posting it. Would you transfer that to me too and I will link Ray and Danny?

Regards,

Can you transfer Raymond Sarvis's memorial to me? (120058779). We are first cousins once removed and I would like to link him to his parents.

Regards,
Jill

RE: Joseph D Sawyer 58598264
Hello,
Thank you for that information.
I think the stone photos on Marie C's page are mismatched.
My source says she b.1846 - d.1863.
In 1860 she is age 13, the dau of Joseph, Sr and Mary, [his 2nd wife], as the lower stone photo stone says.
Also, Marie's stone looks intact; the upper stone photo shows pieces.

I was drawn to this cem looking for Geo M. Sawyer, son of Jos, Sr. + Mary.
Geo M b.1835 - d.1865 is the closest of this family who died at age 31. He is a possible [but not likely] Civil War vet.

I focus on Sawyer CW vets, but I often link Sawyer families together when I can.
This family is likely relatives, but distant.
No transfer needed.
Thanks for the work you do.

Find A Grave Memorial# 58598264

Joseph D. is the son of Wealthy.

I also was concerned about the condition of the stone in the photo.
'age 31' is not much information to determine who is actually buried in that grave. IF you should happen to revisit ....

RE: messages
I just edited in information. Sorry it took so long but my niece was very ill the past few months. She passed away age 27 and we have all been trying to cope with the loss.

Thank you
Sue

He's buried with his parents. That's why he's buried in NY. Thanks for posting his obituary so quickly.

William H Becker 111854077
Hello Jo, I saw the memorial you created for William H Becker. The info you posted to his "Bio" section notes you found a list of veterans buried in the cemetery. Is there any information as to what unit he served in?

I do research on a Civil War Regiment, the 134th NY Volunteer Infantry, a unit principally recruited in Schoharie County. I've created a virtual cemetery for the unit, 350+ names and counting.

A soldier named William H Becker served in the unit.

Thank you for any information you can provide. Paul Turner
