|I started documenting my family's genealogy a few years ago and am hooked. I have found Find A Grave to be very helpful when researching my ancestors - so I wanted to add to Find A Grave in order to help others. Plus some of the life stories I have read in the obituaries are fascinating!|
Whenever possible I have tried to link people to their family members and include relevant information in their memorials.
If you see any errors or omissions, please let me know (using the edit button to send a correction) so I can correct the memorial.
Some people are offended to find their loved ones listed on a genealogical website. Obviously, they are not genealogists themselves. While I may not always understand their feelings, I do respect them. If a record I've added is of your loved one and you want it removed, let me know POLITELY and I will gladly remove it. Also I am happy to transfer ownership of memorials to their relatives if they are not one of my relatives.
Finally, feel free to use any of the headstone photos I've added for non-commercial genealogical purposes.

I have added a picture to the memorial for Howard C. Steele, buried in Edmonds Memorial Cemetery. I didn't know if you were family, but thought you might like to know I added a picture. If this is not okay, then please let me know, and I will gladly remove it :)
And also, if you would like me to send pictures to you, for your use to share with family, then please let me know. I usually take all different views, and directions, so family will be able to see the surrounding area of where their loved ones rest.

Thank you for the names of Edward's parents. I have done some more research on him and have added some info to his memorial.
Thanks for transferring the photo of the stone-and for bringing to my attention I made a page that was already there....
Hi can you copy the stone photograph I took and post it on the page you want ? I can not find the stone photograph then I will delete the one I made a double of.

I have discovered that very often on the older stones they will have the wrong dates. I put the date you provided, and will try to get out to the cemetery to see if I can find the stone.

I am wondering what documentation you have that Mary Ann Best is a descendant of Catherine Mallon Best?
