RE: Appreciative
I appreciate the offer but you went to a lot of work to create it. She is in good hands with you and is part of a strong database of teachers. I know that you family would love to know that her memory lives on in the memorial. Just let me know if you ever decide to cease participating in Find.a.Grave and I will gladly maintain it. Warmly, Helen

Appreciative
Thanks for the update on how Emma Erwin's memorial was created. I love how you are memorializing teachers like this. She is in good hands with you. Warmly, Helen Pickens Murphy

Rachael McGill

I have been asked to remove a record on Rachael McGill #116171405 as it is an almost duplicate of record #113455074. I added the record since I did not find her listed when I took a picture of hers and Jimmy McGill's tombstone. I now see on the first record that her last name is listed as Rankin-McGill.

Not knowing how to handle this, I looked at Find A Grave's naming convention at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=listFaqs#147 Their convention is to use the last name as found on the tombstone, and to note any other names in the biography and/or other links. I also noted "Thorp" was misspelled as "Throp".

I linked her to Jimmy, and was subsequently asked to link her parents and siblings, so apparently, I was not the only one who did not find the original post.

Rachael was a friend of mine for almost 30 years, and I much appreciate you adding her name to Find A Grave. She certainly deserves to be remembered far and wide.

I have copied the photo I took of the tombstone to your entry, but would appreciate you adding the links on my entry. I would also ask the Find A Grave naming convention be used, and her maiden name spelling corrected.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards.

RE: Hawpesville
Did you click on "Hawpesville" it takes you to our little town.

Then read down and click on: Howlin Hole.

Dwayne A. Hawpe - Saloon Keeper at the Howlin Hole.

When you get to the Saloon click on the swinging doors of the saloon and come on in...drinks on me.

RE: Hawpesville
Thats my brother's website, he knows the code to build one. We worked on it for 3 years building all the different pages. Once you create the main page say for Obituary's adding individual names is easy. It follow's a certain format. It is hosted by Rootsweb. Look up in left hand corner of the Home page. It is free of charge. You will have to go to their website and search for where they offer websites.

It was so nice of you to transfer this lady to me but I am researching the Yager/Yeager lines and I think since you are researching the Cox family then maybe you should keep her. Can you link her to her parents? Thank you, life is short and I appreciate all the efforts made to link the proper families together. Sincerely, Tess Beshara
