Thank you for the picture of the Honolulu Memorial. I recently found this site and knew little of my father.

Thank you for the image of the memorial. Gilbert Finn was a first cousin to me. Family still talks of his sacrifice. I appreciate your efforts.

Could I ask you if you would kindly remove the general Honolulu Memorial photos from S1 William Edward "Wille" Dow Memorial# 56129052. The room is now needed to add some other photos and Docs to tell this sailor's full story. Please leave the one of his name listed on the memorial but remove the 2 of the general memorial.

can you remove the photo for registration # 75377272. thank you
|John Holman||2Lt Nion Robert Tucker|
First, he should not be listed as KIA on Iwo. In the Spearhead, he listed in a list of Marines who died of wounds - DOW.
My father was a US Navy corpsman with the 28th Regiment. Dad stabilized Tucker on Green Beach. Tucker was in the 1st Battalion, so Dad did not know Tucker. Dad's platoon was attached to the 1-28 that day. After he had completed stabilization, a Marine told Dad who Tucker was. Dad lived into his 80s thinking Tucker survived.

My brother was MSgt John Fish. I saw your posting. He disappeared on July 19, 1953 with his tank crew members in the last big battle of the Korean War. How did you happen to post his information?? Would like to hear from you.

Karen could you please transfer Management of Sgt Donald M. LaForest over to me, we seem to have him in there twice.... Don is my cousin and I have a Find A Grave listing with his military pic and grave marker already. I was at the ceremony in Arlington with his siter, sad time for sure and a long time coming..... At the time I listed Don on Find A Grave I could not get the BIO in but you have it summed up pretty nicely.... Thank you.
