When I was a little girl, my parents would drive through the local cemeteries on a Sunday, for something to do. (no tv then). We would look at the markers and the names and try to think about who that person was and what their life was like. If it was a child's grave, we would always feel sad. My little granddaughter likes cemeteries, too, so maybe it is in the genes. :)|

Eleanor, you are very welcome! I couldn't find the other two Cunninghams but I will try to get back there and check again. Carla :)

You are very welcome! I was just going through my photos of the cemetery I took last year and found it. I haven't made out to Marshall County to look for the Buchanan Cemetery yet. The weather is crazy here, warm but a lot of storms with heavy down pours of rain. Carla :)

Hi, would you happen to know if the above person could be Mary Emma Taylor Reifenberger from Perry County, MO? She did marry a Reifenberger but I do not know his first name or year.
Thanks so much!

Thank you so very much Elenaor! I can't wait until the weather warms up so I can start really getting into this to not only record history but "reunite" families. I am truly grateful. Thanks for all your help!

Hi Eleanor, I am new here at F/G. Anyhow, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind transferring my grandma Helen to my care. We(my family) was the closest thing she had to real family. She left(ran away to be more exact) czechoslovakia when she was 18 with her fiance' on a ship. She was never able to go back to the czech b/c the ship ride was too much for her to bear. She never saw her blood relatives again. She wrote them, sent money etc. Her fiance' John passed before they could get married. I still have her engagement ring. She couldn't have been more my grandmother if she had been blood. Therefore if you don't mind I would really like to be able to tell her story and manage her memorial. Thanks for any help you might be able to give. ~Kim

Oops, my mistake, I didn't refresh my screen to see I already had them. My apologies.
