RE: Thanks for the photo of Earl Lattin
Thanks. I sent a correction to Earl's memorial manager. Also please see Family Tree at www.familysearch.org, which has pretty complete info.

RE: Thanks for the photo of Earl Lattin
Yes, I'm related to Earl Lattin, on his father's side. His great-grandfather, Stephen Calkins (45271291) was brother to my ggg-grandmother, Amanda (Calkins) Squire (54846717). Also, Stephen's half-sister Elizabeth (111693800) m George Lattin. To top it off, several Lattins lived in Shelby Twp, Blue Earth, Minn, the home of many of my ancestors.

Let me know if you are interested in the Lattins.

Jennifer "Sissy" Fisk
What a difference a sunny day makes!

My son and I went back to the cemetery around 2pm today. Amazing how much better one can see the stones with the sun shining so brightly.

We were able to find Jennifer's grave without any problem today.

Her plot is number 645, which was near midrange of my guess.

So glad we found her, my son must be my lucky charm. : )

Hello Peter,

I was out at this cemetery for the first time today. I studied the layout of it and I have a general idea of where Jennifer, "Sissy" is buried.

However, the headstones dating in the ranges of 1937-1940's are hard to read. About 95% have names that are no lomger visible.

I intend to make some calls on Monday to see if I can get her plot number and then go back to get the photo.

Or, if you have the plot number that would be most appreciated.

At least with this cemetery the deceased are buried in somewhat of a chronological order. I assume her plot will be in the 500-800 range.

I do like looking in this cemetery because my grandmother used to work for the Dixon Developmental Center/State School when I was a child. Makes me wonder if she cared for Sissy. I do not recall the years she worked there but I do know she retired from there after several years. It could be possible.

I will keep trying. : )

Mount Olive Photo Request
Hi. I will be going to Mount Olive cemetery over the next 3 or 4 weeks (weather permitting) to take photos of my relatives grave sites and I saw you had a request(s). If you would call the cemetery office (number on the front page of the cemetery page) and get the location of the burial, I will try to get the photo request for you while I am there. Just add it to your memorial in the plot section. They are very helpful at the office. Kathy
