Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an attorney and court commissioner in Dodge County, Wisconsin. My lovely wife Julie and our kids Philip and Grace (and dog Howie) enjoy exploring cemeteries with me.

Like most of my fellow gravers, I do this to preserve the history of those who came before us and the often beautiful works of art that mark their final resting places - and to make the information more accessible to those who might be searching for it.

My information comes from a variety of sources, including older cemetery transcriptions done by others. Feel free to contact me with corrections, additional information, transfer requests, questions, etc. I'll be happy to help if I can.

Thank you so much for the photo of the grave of my great-great grandfather, James Ray. It was posted years ago but I have just seen it. As others have noted, you take the time to get close-ups so that the letters can actually be read. This is wonderful, thanks again. I would never have known where he was buried, never mind travelling there to take a photo (from Scotland!).

10 Calvary tombstones dug out of the snow
The snow on these tombstone pictures tells only half the story of your dedication. It does not show that the temps were near 0 this week and you are still out there. Special Thanks.

Then you go beyond and create a memorial for the spouse and link them. In the case of Anthony Gulig his tombstone was flat and buried next to his parents, and you created new memorials for his parents. You uncovered the stone and added memorials for his parents, so they could all be linked together. Very special thoughtfulness for a stranger's family.

Thanks for allowing the parental/sibling connections for them. It's so nice when a 'lost' child or sibling can be connected again with family.
And thanks for putting them here to begin with, so I could find them. Rebecca
