RE: David Duncan, Shorthill Cemetery, Park County, Montana
Just now started doing their children, James and Catherine and Catherine's maiden name is Copelin. I also found that on the marriage info for Richard Duncan(one of the children) that Catherine is listed as being from Pennsylvania so I'm not to sure if it's NY or Penn. At any rate further info you can annotate on David's memorial.

Cheers,

Jan

Well it's me again..................finally found the Duncan family through some detective work and persistence. I figured if David Duncan married Mary Jane Shorthill then they probably lived close to one another and ...............they did. Per the 1870 Census report for Pennsylvania; Centre County, Rush Township page #21 the parents of David Duncan(drum roll)James Duncan and Catherine Duncan! James was born in about 1812 in Pennsylvania and Catherine was born in New York in about 1827. So there you have it my friend.

Cheers,

Jan

Rev Gershom Hobart
Rev Hobart married my 6th great grand parents John Lawrence and Hannah Tarbell in Groton, Mass on Nov 9, 1687.
Would you know what church that would have been in and do you have any other info on my folks?
Thanks
Dennis Lawrence
