I use to use chalk on old stones, and was unaware of any damage it may do. I no longer use chalk on stones. If anyone has a listing I placed a stone photo on in which I used chalk, and they want that photo removed, just let me know and I will remove it. As agreed by find a grave, the chalked photo's will be removed as new, readable photo's are placed on the listing.|
I just want to let everyone know, I do read all of the messages left on my page, and appreciate hearing that my efforts are not in vain. I am sorry though that I only answer the ones that are a question. I do appreciate all of your messages.
Thank You for your messages

Thanks Tom for adding the info on Gilbert. Of interest my 3rd gr grandfather Sidney Young took Gil to court for mishandling the estate of his brother Benjamin Young, Gil was his nephew. Regards Bill Preston
Thomas: Thank you so much for the photos for Richard and Earline at the Garfield Cemetery. I have just entered his mother Jennie Dymond Williams in the East Nassau Cemetery. I was never able to determine where or if there is a marker for her. We would certainly like to see a photo if possible. I am entering a request this evening. Thanx again, Jerry

You are amazing! I can not even express in words how exciting this is! My grandmother and my mother are going to be so excited! George Cramer is my Great Great Grandfather on my Mother's Mother's Mother's side... This is truly a wonderful find.
|brianna guckemus||RE: Cramer's|
Thank you so much Thomas. I'm researching Jacob Cramer whom I believe was born in October 1853 in New York and died sometime prior to 1925 in Troy. I believe he married Lena B. per several NY Census records and that his parents were Jacob and Veronica Cramer (not confirmed). I have been to the state archives trying to locate his death record in the index but no luck yet so that I may order a copy to get a confirmation on his death and his parents. In the meantime i've started hunting the cemeteries for any Cramers to see if I can find a link. I know that some of my Cramer ancestors are buried in Eagle Hill Cemetery.

Thanks for taking the photos you've posted - it is going to be a great help with my research pertaining to my husband's family line.

Guess they're not the same...checked map directions (after I wrote my message) OOps! Sorry!
Lots of Gage's in both Lee Church and in Knox Cemetery.
|Kem Hart-Baker||Same name - Cemeteries?|
While researching today for GAGE family members buried in Knox, Albany County, NY, I found what appears to be duplicate names in two different (?) cemeteries.
Is the Lee Church Cemetery and the Knox Cemetery, one in the same??
Hope you can straighten this out in my mind.
Thank you. Kem
Nice job on Curtis Farm - it didn't sound easy to get there!

We will leave them as is for now. When I get new ones I can replace them and I think I have a relative in the area even though I live in Texas. They will be well taken care of and info added to prove it. It is about time their 18 kids joined with them.
