Martin transfer
Thank you Bonnie for the transfer. If you are related to the Martins, since you mentioned being related distantly, not sure which family you meant, I would be interested. My Martins started out in PA but some were in Nelsonville and some in Logan Ohio and other areas.
Thank you again. Linda

Martin Graves transfer
Hello Bonnie, Would you by chance be related to Lorenzo Dow and Nancy Effie Martin.
I would ask you to transfer them to me but possibly they are related to you too.
Lorenzo Dow in Greenlawn Cemetery, son of John S Martin, who was from Washington County, PA
I have a photo of his mother Emma and didn't actually know who it was. He (John S) was known as Jack. He was a cousin of my g grandfather. I am still trying to make the connections - you know how that is. John S. and his cousin Wm H Martin, my g grandfather, were both members of 140th
PA in Civil War. I wasn't aware of that I til I saw that on F A Grave today.
Their grave numbers are
# 36405889
# 36398449

Fessenden' s
Why did you make an unknown on Walter L and Ethel C Fessenden. They are both buried in Lindquist' Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch in Ogden, Utah. No memorial yet exists. Please let me know when you transfer them.

John Wheeler b22 Jan 1630

I accessed your record for Major John Wheeler b1630, record number 33481296 on the Find A Grave website.

The birth information you have included in the website is difficult to verify. I have researched John Wheeler for a few years and cannot find the source of the birthdate and especially the birthplace and parentage of Major John Wheeler.

He was clearly born in England and appears he immigrated to Maryland USA as a 20 year old in 1651/2,… married and had a few children. I would be interested in your source(s) of information for his birthdate and birthplace, and parents. There are quite a few John Wheeler’s born in the late 1620’s and early 1630’s in England and how to discriminate and pin point which of all those born there is the actual John Wheeler who immigrated to Maryland.

I would very much appreciate your assistance in the sources of this information….

Evangelist Robert Howard
Name Correction, William Howard (1815-90)
Dear Friend,

Would you please correct William Howard's name on all your maintained, applicable memorials?

William was never named "William Babington Howard" and never used a name like that. All authentic records about him prove that fact. Catherine Babington Howard, William's mother, introduced the surname "Babington" into this particular Howard family. You can find William's parents at sites like

I'm 72 and a 2nd Great Grandson of William and Elizabeth Anderson Howard. I am also the oldest male descendant of the only 3 males directly descended from William to bear the middle name "Babington." These were my Great Grandfather, my Grandfather, and my Father - all named Lucas Babington Howard. I'm also probably (chuckle) the only non-mormon descendant of William!

I would appreciate your reaction to my message.

Sincerely yours,
Evangelist Robert (Rob) Howard

Would you consider transferring Bernice Brown Ostvig's memorial (39319284) over to me? She is my husband's aunt. Thank you, Sherry Brown
