The day I stop searching for my Ancestors will be the day someone starts searching for me.|
May God let me live long enough to leave a very, very large trail for them to find.
I want to give special thanks to "My Dear Friend", Liz for helping me put down the bread crumbs for my family to follow and to Jim for bringing life back to my old family photos.

Hi, I hope I can clarify Easter Sutton's name. She was Easther Williams. I put Caldwell out there many, many years ago, as I mixed her up with another ancestor. It's taken hold, and I've tried to get the correct information out there. I have a family bible that lists her as Williams.

You didn't say would it help if I transfer them to you. When do you show Alice dying. I show David living with their daughter Mary in the 1930 census

Cheryl.. don't think I have any relationship to him. However I did create memorials for him and a Leroy Thomas Waters buried in the Waters cemetery in SD. If you would like I can transfer them to you. Will do some more digging for you

No. As far as I know they still work off of old registers from which they go back and forth for scanty particulars. Thier "searchable database" is basically go through old registers & logs. I think they charge, maybe $100-$150 per grave or something along those lines.
Calvary is essentially four (4) cemeteries. It's quite large with numerous burials over the c. 140 years, possibly several million.
It's also part of several neighborhoods; like Long Island City, Blissville, Sunnyside, Laurel Hill, Maspeth and Woodside.
What information do you have? Any particulars, e.g., dates, names, et cetera?
Let me know what you have maybe I can be of some help.
My brothers & I grew up down there as children up until the time of our parents passing on.

You're welcome. I'm sorry I couldn't pin point the exact stone. None of them in the old section are readable.

You're welcome! There's some more photos of Reuben Caldwell's headstone posted on a duplicate memorial at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=71693298.
I was looking up some of my realtives and saw a comment under my great great grandfather David Lester Goodwin that you were related to him also. I never knew him but his daughter Lillian Goodwin Nolen was my great grandmother who I was close too when I was younger and before she passed away. Ive been trying to look up my family history and I think we my be realted way down the line. I dont know much about my family history on this side of my family.
