I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of Civil War vets that had any ties to Vermont.Rufus Bates & Charles Sherman are two such soldiers. May I use the photo's you have posted on their Find A Grave Memorial pages, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org) You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for posting this photo.
|Richard Van Wagenen||Merton Brown|
Merton who is buried in Fort Madison, Lee, Iowa was the husband of Martha and they were the parents of Mary Ellen (Brown) Sansone buried in Keokuk.
Ihave tried to combine them together, but have had no luck, perhaps you would be willing to try.
Thanks again for the photo from Keokuk National Cemetery for Lola Nye. It is appreciated!
