Hi, Irish Eyes, thank you for creating the page for Rachel Jane Mace. Can you determine why the siblings listed in the memorial text are a different list than those below in the calculated relationships? Thank you.

I am looking at Memorial #42863933. Can you tell me what the information about STRAIN Ann 9-10-1832......STRAIN William 3-3-1856**** is all about? I do not find the rest of these people in MY family tree. Are they related to William? Jane Strain
|Barbara Pulley Azbill Riggio||Irwin Andrew Andersen|
My Irish Eyes are smiling too today. I have fulfilled all of your Andersen requests today and will do the two Reeses tomorrow. I also did the Clickner request. The cemetery manager told me that Irwin is listed on their records as KIA while in the service, although it doesn't say that on his stone. I think he lays one direction and his wife the other, as he has two stones, the one with both of them on it and at the bottom of that grave, the other stone is placed. They are in very good condition. The cemetery manager also told me that their records show the last name is spelled with an e, not an o. I did not edit that on the site, but am alerting you. This grave is in Unit One, Block 93, and all the other Andersens are near each other. All in Block 93.

THANKS so much for the transfer! We will cherish her always!
We will write to her daughter, Patricia (my 1st cousin), and ask her to post a photo of her mother (if possible).

|Peter Diehr||Nancy Cissne, # 8143026|
Find A Grave Memorial# 8143026
Death: Jun. 11, 1873
aged 66y 8m 29d wife of William
Note: WPA says she died in 1878.
I've been tracing the census records for my 1st cousin 4 times removed, William Cissne. He appears to be buried in the Burns Cemetery, along with his wife, Nancy Pomeroy Cissne, youngest son, Will, and some in laws: his daughter, Mary Cissne, married Richard Areningdale.
From the census of 1850 Nancy Cissne was born in 1812, so the WPA reading appears to be correct. There is no photo of the stone, so it is hard to tell from here.
The census of 1850 also implies that William Cissne was born in 1807, but the calculation from the inscription says 1804 ... which says that his mother, Johanna Dix Cissne, was only 14, or else we have her birth date wrong! So an obituary would be helpful. William was born in Michigan, which I have updated.

|llanggin||RE: WHIPPLE PROBATE RECORDS|
John's probate record did NOT list John C. Whipple as a child that inherited anything. The only men/boys listed were Oscar & William. The rest of the kids were female.
I'm not disputing that there is a John C. Whipple that died in 1933, but I'm not sure his parents are John & Priscella Gray Whipple.
