Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a shelter manager for a small Humane Society and an animal advocate.I love geneology and research as well as headstone hunting. When I work on a memorial I try very hard to get all the info possible and make or request any links that can be found and made. Feel free to use any of my pictures as needed. I do not consider them copyrighted. As well as linking and entering family members. I also picture take in the very local cemeteries to memorialize and link family of those that created and lived our rich local history. I come across parents and grandparents, family members of friends and schoolmates with every visit to the cemeteries.

My husband and I are looking for family.
His is Young and Parmley (Kentucky,Iowa), Kutter and Hanson in Iowa and Missouri, Beston (Birston) and Parisien of North Dakota and Canada, Hardin, (Iowa) and Bruce (Missouri), Johnson(Johansan) and Beckett, (Lee Co. Iowa from Sweden)

Joyce,
Appreciate your transfers.
You have set me on to further research on my relatives. I am trying to get information regarding spellings from death certificates and any other sources.
I keep finding both spellings.
Again thanks for the transfers.

Becky Doan
RE: Doanes,
It doesn't help that most of the Doanes have about five different names!

I'm sorry you decided to decline my attempt to correct the spelling of my great-great grandparents name. We are not sure why the headstone reads LARSON since the family goes by LARSEN. Christian was baptized with an E and his marriage certificate is shown with an E. My great grandfather used the E as did his children and on down to me and my children.

Hezekiah Doane
I continue to look for information about Hezekiah Thomas Doane, his daughter, Matilda Doane Jones and their families. Do you know anything of interest. Am trying to work my way back to Mayflower ancestor, Stephen Hopkins. Need vital statistic info.

Please correct the children. It should be Kevin of Hamilton, IL; Shawn and his wife Hilary of Hamilton; and Dustin of Keokuk, IA.

Thanks,
Hilary

Hi. I'm afraid we have duplicate memorials for my grandfather. I think that when I looked for an existing memorial for him I put in his full middle name. On the one you created it shows only his middle initial.

Here is the link to the one I created:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=157721991

So, I need to ask what your preference is in how we handle this conundrum.

Since you are the one who was First
and I was Second I think it is your call.

I would love to have management of my Grandfather's memorial. If your answer is no to that then I would ask that your transfer the information from the memorial I created to the one that you decide to keep. I just recently created it and am in the process of transferring links to is 4 deceased children but will not do any further work until I hear from you.

I want to say "Thank You" for not letting my grandfather be forgotten.

Transfer of Memorials
2-3 years ago I transferred to you some Decker memorials at Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk. May I transfer to you some Decker memorials at Macomb, IL? You seem to be active in Findagrave. I am age 83 and want to transfer my memorials before I become a memorial.
