I will be only too happy to accept corrections or additional information on memorials I have entered on FAG. The exception being of course my own family.

Mary Cunningham grave @ Iantha
You asked why Mary was buried in Iantha when the remainder of her family are buried back in Kansas. I think I can give a plausible answer to that. It seems that perhaps Edith and Hugh might have followed her parents Joel and Matilda, when for a time they moved back to where Matilda's parents were - Barton County, Missouri. I am related through Matilda (Jones) Cunningham. Matilda was my grandfather's sister. I am related through William Jones and wife Viola (Aleshire) Jones. William, Viola and his parents (along with many others) are buried at Barton City Cemetery. I also have quite a few family members buried at Iantha Cemetery.

Hi,
You're very welcome. I enjoy the opportunity to get out and take the photos as requested; I've been lucky enough to have folks take photos I've requested. Its nice to be able to return the favor when I can.

Re: Gary Chadd's tombstone
Kay,

Just got home from Sheldon. I photographed all of the stones not already posted on Find A Grave. Gary's was just one, but was glad to be able to get his.

Re: Gary Chadd
Kay,

Thank you for catching my error. It has been corrected. My fingers don't want to go where I need them to.

Gary's wife is my cousin.

Would you like me to transfer management of these two over to you since you're related? I'm on my way out of town but I can do it when I return.

RE: Rachel Terhune
You're very welcome!! There are a couple of questions I was wanting to ask you. First, did Rachel have a nick name? The stone is inscribed Bessie, although it is hard to read. The birth date and death date are the same as you have for Rachel. Second, is it ok with you to use chalk on the stone to help make it more legible? The stone isn't in bad shape it's just hard to read from dirt and lichen build up over the years. I also wanted to tell you that she shares the stone with Charles Terhune, she is on the north side of the stone and Charles is on the south side of the stone.
