I, like most of you, love learning about family history. I am interested in all my family lines: Atkins, Brock, Brown, Whittle, Caldwell, Roesler, Russell, Holloway, Austin, Dobbs, Hollis, LeMaster, Lewallen, Canter, Sansing, Flanegan, Vaughns, and many others. The work of Find A Grave volunteers and other genealogists is very much appreciated. While my time is limited due work and family, I try to contribute as much of my time as is possible.|
If you wish me to transfer your direct line family member to you, use the edit tab on the memorial page, then click to submit a correction or additional information and I will consider it. What I look for before I transfer a memorial is if the person requesting is an active find a graver, meaning, does that person go out and survey cemeteries, photograph graves, research for data on the person, or others, not even related. I used to think I should "own" or manage memorials of my family members, which I think is common to newcomers to find a grave. I don't feel that way anymore. Rather than owning my relatives memorials, I add them to my virtual cemeteries so they are readily available to me. I used to be more "giving" and transferred to anyone requesting. I don't do that anymore. After transferring, often, nothing changed on the memorials. Then I would send an edit request to that person, with no response. I am more than willing to make any reasonable updates to the memorial and so just send me any information you think should be changed and I will take care of it as soon as possible. You are able to add photos as you wish to the memorials, no matter who maintains it. Thanks!

Hi Donna, sorry I figured it out and fixed it. Sorry about that. I have not worked on this line in a very long time.

You sent me an edit to add her husband which is already linked so not sure what you want me to do?????
|Tony Pope||Elizabeth Brown Pope|
Just an FYI...Elizabeth Brown Pope (my mother) is listed as passing away in 1936 on the Find-A-Grave site # 114265349.
However, she is very much still alive. Her birth information is already listed on the tombstone she will share one day with my father (Clarence Pope) who is buried there already.

Thank you for taking the time to pass the correct information on about the cemetery of Armuchee. I have already changed cemeteries as suggested. Your vigil in making sure of the correct cemetery will never be forgotten. Thank you again for your kindness and the correction. Kind regards, precious memories. Post Script…..Now I know why I could not find information about “Old Armuchee Church” online.

I changed his memorial to Armuchee Baptist. Hope it's the right one. Thanks for letting me know about the two cemeteries.

|Terry Mathis||Scoggins Family|
I am a new member of findagrave and would like to put in pictures of graves that I have. My grandmother was Edna Gertrude Scoggins Godfrey. I knew her well and her siblings and received lots of information from her personally. I still live around many of them in Floyd County, GA. If you need any information about Lewis's children, I probably have it. Like I said, I spent a lot of time with my grandmother talking and visiting with her brothers and sisters when I was younger.

thank you for the photo and for your time.
Thank you so much for the headstone photo that you took and added to her memorial.
|Tim Day||James Bishop grave|
Donna, yesterday I placed a monument at the grave of my great uncle, James Bishop, in Lawrence Cemetery. I imagine I was one of the very few who still knew where his actual grave is. Anyway, I added a picture of the stonem but it is showing up as a secondary picture. Would you mind fixing it to where the stone is the main picture? Thanks, Tim
