Bio
Some of my, and my husband's, family names being researched are listed in my virtual cemeteries.
I make regular visits to Andersonville National Cemetery to visit with my mom and baby brother and to put flowers on their graves. When I make these trips I take photos for others. I try to pop in and look in the cemetery database located in the lobby and talk with park rangers, most who have done extensive research on individuals buried there. They can sometimes provide additional information that is not publicly available.
If you would like to look for Andersonville Cemetery information in the database without having to visit the cemetery - it was made public by the family of Jack Lundquist who developed it. When he passed away in 2009 his family put it on line at:

I have a passion for capturing and sharing information found in cemeteries. When I stand and look about I see the headstones and markers and so much more. They are markers of a life that once was. As I stand there quietly I listen, to the whispers on the wind that say "remember me."
