Bio and Links
Bio Photo The majority of information on many of my memorials is based on personal research into my family history. Other information was provided by others, taken from grave markers or from obituaries I've found. I cannot guarantee the accuracy of information from these sources, but believe most of it is correct.

I have photographed grave markers at several local cemeteries. Some of them have no death date. To protect their privacy I research the person and delete the grave marker or their identity on double markers if I cannot locate a death date. The exception is when the birth date is 100 years or more in the past.

I am not perfect and make my share of errors. I may inadvertently add a duplicate memorial. If you find a duplicate OR ANY error in information, photo placement, or family link, PLEASE let me know. I strive for accuracy which is so important to those of us tracing our family history.

Feel free to use any of the pictures I have posted.

Most of the memorials I've added are for those not related to me. If you would like a transfer of someone not related to me, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'll be glad to transfer your relative or acquaintance to you. Each transfer is a success in this fascinating process.

Names in my family tree include:

CHAMBERS, PRUITT (many spellings), HICKS, ELDER, DUNCAN, KUYKENDALL (several spellings), FORD, SHIELDS, STOCKTON, EMERT and many other ancestors and descendants of these names.

RE: BERTHA IRENE EVANS MCDANIEL
Please overlook my previous email regarding Bertha's death as per the Social Security record. I happened to notice afterwards the death date on her tombstone does show she was born in 1914. Either the person who had this date put on the tombstone was incorrect or either the Social Security Death Record was incorrect.

You are showing that Bertha Irene was born June 26 1914. I believe it should show June 26 1912 as per the Social Security record that I have copied and pasted below. Thanks.

RE: Evans and McDaniel Memorials
Bertha married Gallagher in 1929 and they were still married in the 1940 census. By 1951 she had married McDaniel. Sometimes I have to use a later date on a 2nd marriage to get it to put the correct order. Thanks for the updates :-)

RE: Wayne Nash
You are definitely one of a kind. It appears Find A Grave would also rather manage a site rather than transfer it to a relative, also. I would definitely much rather have a memorial be managed by someone who cares, rather than someone that sees numbers.

Thanks again,
Connie

Thank you so much for this transfer of my sweet friend. So many folks wouldn't do that. I just want you to know how much I appreciate it.

Sincerely,

RE: Wayne Nash
yes, I would love for you to transfer his memorial to me. He was a very dear friend of mine, and we lost him much too soon!

Thank you for your kindness.
