Bio

Capt Lonnie Ray Hoover
Unites States Marine Corps

I have been researching my family tree for over 30 years. I have over 50,000 relatives in my Ancestry.com tree.
My wife and I have sold our ranch and are now living in an RV. We will be on the road for at least three or four years, I want to visit and photograph all the cemeteries where my relatives are buried. My roots start in Virginia and North Carolina, I am starting there and working my way west.
One of my projects was to HONOR my fellow Veterans who are no longer with us, by photographing the over 20,000 memorials in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Ft Gibson, Oklahoma, to date I have taken photos of over 19,000 stones and added most to findagrave, then I went back, added wives and deleted all duplicates.
If I am managing one of your relatives, and they are not in my family tree, contact me and I will transfer it to you, no questions ask. Feel free to use any photo I have posted to Find A Grave, that's why I do this.
I research the family lines of my grandparents, WALSTON, LAWRENCE, WILLIS and HOOVER.
