Carol, thanks for replying...she is my 4th great-grandmother as well. I live on the west coast, but will be in New Haven later this month for a few days. Not sure if I will have any down time, but in case I do...if anything occurs to you that I could check in person (in Saybrook) that might be helpful in adding to the Rachel Reeves knowledge base, let me know. I wouldn't know where to start, as I've done all my genealogy online so far.
I'd like to visit the Samuel Willard house as well as the Cypress Cemetery in Old Saybrook, (the latter where Susannah and Nathaniel Lynde are buried), but it may not happen this visit. Have you been to either?
