|When you "borrow" my tombstone photos, please credit me and/or this site as the source.|
Use the "Suggest a Correction" link, available at the top right corner of each memorial, to offer additional information (or request a transfer) for any memorial I manage. I will create links (but not to disposition lost or unknown); and update any/all data fields. Any corrections or transfer requests posted to my profile will be deleted without action.
Since I don't have permission from newspapers or funeral homes to use their material, I will no longer post obituaries to the memorials I manage.

|Ronnie Teich||Who Are You?|
That you invaded a family by not only putting pictures of the headstone on line, but other information as well. Don't you have to ASK permission from the family first before you start taking photos and putting information on the web? I find YOUR action OFFENSIVE! And INTRUSIVE!!
|Ellis Shenk||Jennie H. Gross (1884-1905)|
Jennie H. Gross, daughter of Amos L. Gross was born in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. Her mother, Lizzie L. Brightbill, daughter of John Brightbill and Catharine Killinger. Lizzie died within five years of the birth of Jennie. Amos L. Gross on April 24 1890 married Annie E. Barr in Annville, Lebanon County, PA.
I have record of seven children of Amos and Annie Gross. John, Amos and Harrison were born in Lebanon County, PA. Elmira, Mary and James B. were born in Virginia. It is not clear where son William, b. ca. 1907 was born.
Curious about your specific interest in this family.

Since you recorded the gravestone with much genealogy on it, I am trying to connect the Hastings listed there (John 1772-1835
Mary 1775-1835, Stephen 1798-1832, Peter 1802-1814, Peter 1830-1843, Sarah 1837-1840) to Susanna R. Hastings 1818-1887 who died in Washington Co PA and was married to John Warren Wilson.

I believe the above section of the Hebrew Mt. Carmel Cemetery on German Hill Road has too many burials listed. The ZAN section is to the right of the sidewalk when your back is to German Hill Road. To the left of the sidewalk is the Anshe Kolk section. I have a map that shows this plus I did a spot check of two names, Morris Eisenberg, 8/8/1954 and Herman Fishkin, 5/11/1999 in the Baltimore Sun obits. Both name the place of burial as the Kolker (familiar name) Cemetery. I know that the several small burial sections on German Hill Road can be difficult to work with.
