Yates Union Chapel Cemetery |
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.
I post information and photos so we can learn, share and remember those before us. If you wish to manage any listing that I have posted it would be my pleasure to pass it on to you.
YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO USE ANY PHOTOS THAT I HAVE TAKEN AND POSTED TO FIND A GRAVE.

Thanks for the quick response re James Paul Yates. That narrows him down to one born in Pct 34, Walker Co., AL to James & Sarah Isadora Yates.
The James Paul Yates b. 1920 AR listed in the 1940 AR census was also listed as James E Yates in an earlier census.

Can you confirm if this James Paul Yates (1920-1982) who married Irene F Barkley is the same James Paul Yates who is the son of Samuel Frank Yates & Thalia O Franks? DL

HI Mr Yates,
Thank you for my mistake on the spellings, I have now checked and changed all the last names to Cummins, I had 1 duplicate after I checked them all and have deleted that.
I guess that the person who took the pictures uploaded the pics to my listings and created new ones as well.

Your question: "Hello, it appears I found the Wynn Cemetery as it seems I took a photo of this person. But, I am drawing a blank on its location. Do you know it's location?"
No sir. I'm unfamiliar with the location of this cemetery. By the way, heart felt THANK YOU's for the tombstone photo. Well done. You are so very appreciated. Hope your day is blessed.

I've made the changes to Jacob's memorial. In the future, you can make all these changes through the Edit tab. It is actually faster for you to make the changes to names, dates, and relationships. However, I will be glad to make changes you suggest to the biograohy.

Would you like to manage her memorial? Would gladly transfer hers and any others to whom you are related.

I believe you may be correct and the headstone dates are incorrect, nothing rare about that huh? So I deleted the one that I posted in 2015 from a research book. Thanks for the help. Bob

Please transfer Amber's memorial to me Nina Scott Banks email@example.com Thank you in advance.

Thanks for accepting the edits and for transferring my great-great aunt's memorial to me, and for all the fine and generous work you do! All the best, Rosemary
|Traie Shelhart||Standiford memorials|
Thanks for catching that! I dunno why I had them listed in Grantsburg Cemetery. I had just visited English Cemetery again this past October and remember seeing the Standiford markers there. Oh well...it's fixed now. Thanks again! :)
