I am a quilter! I piece together fabric in the traditional way but also the people of past generations. Just as in making a conventional quilt, all must be pieced together with extreme accuracy, or the outcome will be disastrous. There are no shortcuts that can be taken. The beauty of the quilt can only be truly appreciated by the maker who has personally put their heart and soul into the construction and has had to take out the stitches of the piece that just will not fit.|
DO NOT ADD TO MY MEMORIALS:
NEWSPAPER OBITUARY IMAGES/SCANS
The ones that have been posted to my memorials are all copyright material. Downloading and reposting any image from another website is copyright infringement. Also, be aware that in some states it is illegal to electronically post any vital records. It is punishable with a very hefty fine.
Do not ask me to post obituaries on my memorials unless they are out of copyright. Find A Grave rules state 1922 or earlier and in public domain. Spend your time writing a personal story about the individual.
It is so sad to see so many long time contributors becoming inactive. I totally understand how all of this constant edit stuff is driving them nuts.
I appreciate edits if I have made a typing error but constant requests to add copyright obituaries, or suggestions to add erroneous information (copied from some online tree), is overwhelming. I am on DIALUP service and it takes me hours just to sort through all of this. We are volunteers!
I would much rather have edits sent to me by e-mail with a source cited.
Photos are, and remain, the property of the contributor. No downloading and posting to other web sites! All of the photos submitted by me to Find A Grave, memorials and cemeteries, are copyrighted by me. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited. Written permission must be obtained for any use!
Upon my passing, the full size images and my copyright will be donated to the various genealogical and historical societies that I am a member of. These organizations will need to know to whom I have given permission to for personal use.
I am willing to transfer ownership of my memorials to family members using Find A Grave's standards. I will not transfer if they are my family or allied family members.

|Bill Hart||RE: LeDuc/Le Duc|
Many of the Le Duc markers have a very distinctive space between the E and the D; some do not, I take this literally as a difference in the way the name was spelled. If that name is on your family, I'd trust you to do with it as you believe it to be. We have the same issue with Le Mays, Le Tendre's etc. I have no skin in this game - just trying to get things right.

Thank you for making the addition! And as people say, it is "all good." :-)
We are volunteers, after all. Some have more time or faster access to the internet, but all the contributions are equally important. Thank you for creating this memorial.

Would you please add the following to the biography section of Clifford's memorial?:
Clifford was President of his graduating Haskins High School Class of 1938.
The source of this information is a class photo compilation in booklet entitled "Crimson & Gold Alumni." I think it is worthwhile stating where he went to school and that he was held in such high esteem by his classmates.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks for your consideration and best wishes.
|Joseph R.L.Gauthier and Diane M.(Misiuk) Gauthier||Georgene Monpas Toutant #32048760|
I see that you connected Georgene Monpas Toutant with her husband and son. Would you please connect her with her parents. Her father is Jeffrey Monpas, Memorial# 142974160 and her mother is Elizabeth Dupree Monpas, Memorial# 142974311.
Georgene Monpas Toutant is related to my family she is my second cousin on my mother side of the family, and it would be nice having her connected to her family, so that others would be able to see the connection with others on the site.
Thank you for your attention and I do hope that you honor my request.
As far as the other request for connections of the Toutant family you can do what you want, just let me know so I can remove my request. The only one that concerns me is that of Georgene Monpas Toutant which is a member of my family. Again Thank You for your time and attention with this issue.

You're very welcome for the info. Don't feel bad. It's so easy to mistake the two cemeteries in the cemetery list. Just recently, they've added aliases for both cemeteries to help distinguish them.
Glad I could be of help.

Photo request you made for William @ Getaway United Methodist church cemetery , I think probably your William is buried in Harmony Baptist Church across the road from Getaway , your Williams father is buried at Harmony

Oh dear, I almost forgot. There's millions of these dusty old newspaper obits here on findagrave. You better get crackin'! Times a wastin'! You have a lot of work to do leaving unpleasant messages on peoples boards.
|Trippy Von Brainstorm||RE: Obituary Image|
Would you please remove the obituary image from my Find A Grave memorial number 31891619. I appreciate your kindness but it is a copyright violation to post this. Help with Find A Grave states:
"Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
You should not copy obituary notices from newspapers (or from ..
Wow! Are you really this boring in real life too???
|D. Gould Hall||RE: A Long Overdue Transfer!|
