Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have always loved the old cemeteries. My interest in genealogy has brought me back into the cemeteries to find my roots. I love helping others to discover their past and to honor and remember those that have come before us.

Currently I am working on photographing and transcribing the cemeteries of Queens Co. and Long Island, New York. I love learning about the interesting families that lived here and I am happy to help others when I can.

Nearly all of the information for the memorials I have entered is taken from photographs which I have personally taken. In the interest of getting as many people entered as possible, I have gotten behind in adding all my photos. If you see a memorial which I have entered and you would like a photo, please request the photo by clicking the "request a photo" tab on the memorial and then drop me a line to let me know that you have put in the request. I am not automatically notified when a photo request has been made on a memorial I have created.

I welcome all corrections. I try to be as accurate as I possibly can.

Not asking for a transfer.
Thank you for adding him- I had him in my tree as VonNostrand- that was fun searching on findagrave!
And you have him linked to wife and son.
Wish it was always this easy. :)
Take care

Hi Dyanne! I sent you a correction for Gwendolyn Sammis. You had her as daughter of Royal Sammis but she is daughter of Aldrich Sammis. Aldrich is son of Royal! Thanks! ~Ed

Josephine Treadwell
I am more particularly interested in Mary de Mumm, in fact her name was von Mumm von Schartzstein, born in Franckfurt in 1915. His father was Walther von Mumm, married in London in 1913 with Frances Scoville sister of Josephine Treadwell. The Mumm family was in 1914 owner of champagnes Mumm in Reims France. Frances Scoville died in Paris in 1919. Josephine Treadwell then came in France to repatriate the body of her sister in the USA.
My question is where are buried Mary von Mumm and is mother. In the cemetery of Saint Pauls episopal or that of Senneca Kansas?
Thank you, and ecuse me for my bad english !

Unfortunately I don't have that info. The cut out news clipping was in my father's family papers.

Josephine Treadwell
Hello Dyane.
Is there any other info on this Josephine Treadwell that you know of? I am in ND and in 1938 this lady died in a car wreck with her niece Marie de Mumm. The car was purchased by my dad from insurance company and repaired. Is a beautiful car and I do not remember it at all but have a pic of my dad standing by it. Was a 1934 Buick convertible. One like it sold for 187,000.00 in Arizona. Just trying to find out any info I can on these 2 ladies other than what I have found in local papers at librairys....... Thanks in advance. Wayne

Jessie Wilkinson
Hi, Dyane. Do you know you have two memorials for Jessie Elizabeth Wilkinson Allen? The first is 43452896 at Manhasset; the second is 45210734 at Christ Church. I remember your saying that these two cemeteries "overlapped."

I don't suppose you'd remember how you know her middle name is Elizabeth. (The grave says E.) I know it's a long shot. I have my tree on Family Search, and her person file is listed as Jessie Edna or Elizabeth Wilkinson. I'm searching to see where Edna came from, so (maybe) I can eliminate it or explain it away. (Smile!)
