OK1 Thanks for that info. I had a feeling that might be the case since you have cover this cemetery so well, and I didn't remeber seeing that name on any stone last year on our visit!
Thanks for you vigilance!

Thank you for the bio of Alfred posted at findagrave.com. I am interested in his mother and grandfather: John Wechtnecht. My great grandmother is also a Whitenight from Nescopeck and Columbia County, PA. Catharine Whitenight, b. 1803 who marries a Nagle. I'm collecting all the information I can find on the Nescopeck Whitenights.
I would like to know more about John Whitenight. Is he possibly the Josiah Whitenight in the 1810 Census for Nescopeck? Is he the John Whitenight that moves to Bloomberg, Columbia Co.,PA? I will research the DAR to see if I can find him.

I sent an edit for the birthdate and place of Lester Stanley Richards in Laurel Cemetery in White Haven, Pa. based on information from 2 of his military records when he entered the military in WWI. Another record filing a claim after his death did give the info. you have listed for his birth, but one of the military records I found includes his signature, so is probably more accurate.

Thank you for the edits for George Donop. In addition to accepting your edits, I've added more information to their memorials.
Are you by any chance related? I am not and would be happy to see George and Jennie with someone who knows them.

PS. where did you find the middle name Bell? I'm going to add it to my records and see what else I can find!

All I could find on him was this WWI Vet card. No death cert. or other Military rec.
That's a really good point about death being in Europe somewhere. That is most likely the case.
The card only says his residence is Audenreid Carbon Pa. and that he died of a "disease". If he died in Europe that could explain the lack of records.
I thought it interesting too that this info was sent to his mother and not his wife Anna Davis. They were married in 1910 but that is all I could find.
Thanks so much

I tried several different ways of spelling it, as I just had a feeling it was not spelled right since I could find no record of them in any Census. I have no problem deleting mine. I am so glad that they are documented and glad you got the article for your memorial. I am all about being correct than large numbers. Thanks so much
