Lives are commemorated - deaths are recorded - families are reunited - memories are made tangible - and life is undisguised. This is a cemetery.

Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek information and our heritage is thereby enriched.

Testimonies of devotions, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life - not death - of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.

A cemetery is a history of people - a personal record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering - ALWAYS.

You are very welcome. There was a raccoon walking very close by. I took the photo and quickly left. I didn't get to see if the other headstone you requested was close by but I will go back and look.

RE: Olive Jacobs
Correct. Olive has no headstone. I put captions on the photos with a little more information. It might be necessary to click on the photos to see the captions.

Murial M. Powers, 140241551
Hi Cheryl-

Just wondering if you meant to send an edit to remove the period after Muriel Power's middle initial? The FAQs were changed sometime ago and we're suppose to use a period now.

Memorial Naming Conventions:
Non-famous Memorials
If a hyphen or an apostrophe is part of the name, use the punctuation.
*****Use a period after names where only an initial is known.
If the full name is known, use the full name and not the initial.
Do not use any other punctuation within any Name Field.
Do not use Full capitalization (ALL-CAPS) of names in any Name Field.
Suffixes and Prefixes do not belong in any Name Field.
