|ANGELA POOLE||Hiram B. Loften|
Hiram Loften, buried in Smith Cemetery in Covington County was my grandmother's brother. My grandmother always thought his middle name was "Brian", my mom thought it was "Byron" and on his memorial page, it is listed as "Bryan". His gravestone only says Hiram B. Could you tell me where you got the information that his middle name is Bryan. I am not disputing, my mom and I would just like to know!! He was very special to my mom and it was only in later years when my nephew was named Brian that the dispute started. My grandmother has since passed away. Thank you for all you do!

Thanks for adding the obituary; repaired the spelling of that name you brought to my attention. I appreciate the positive influence you bring to findagrave.
|Randy Marks||Sam Vojnovich|
I was looking up information on my uncle Marshall Thomas Marks who was killed in action while on a mission in his B25 at Cape Gloucester, New Britain on Dec 26, 1943. Sam was listed as a gunner on that crew who all perished in the crash. There must have been another Sam Vojnovich because the grave marker you have on the site lists him dying in 1990 and also fighting in Korea. Either they are one and the same person and of course he would for some reason not been on the flight. I have three sources saying he was killed on December 26, 1943. Do you know anything about this man. I would like to see if he did fly with my uncle whether any records exist in his family that would indicate that.
sorry about that. it is laura Reagan graham her Find A Grave # is 86454253
