Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have being doing genealogy since 2009.
It is my wish that I have entered someone you are looking for. If I have entered any one related to you and they are not related to me - I will be happy to transfer. My goal is not to see how many memorial I can create, but to help you find your love ones . I don't mean to offend anybody, the memorials are made so love ones can find their relatives. If I have entered anything incorrectly, I will be glad to correct.

Any and all information or pictures, I have uploaded, are meant for sharing. Family memories were meant to be passed on. I just don't understand anyone that thinks different. I think if you don't want to share, than don't put them on a public site.

william Steele
William Steele Find A Grave Memorial# 104091774. Actual year of birth is 1865. Thank you for the time you have invested. I am the great granddaughter of William and Jennie Steele. I can not verify Warren Steele and Elizabeth Warren as his parents. William was raised by James and Rebecca Hall in Pearson's Corner, West Dover, Kent County, Delaware. The 1870 Census report list him as their (The Hall's) nephew. May I know your resouce to verify his birth parents?
Most kindly, Janet Steele McGuire

RE: William Gardenhire
You can contact me, I can show you where it is, also see the Grayson county Genweb site for a map I put on there. But I would be glad to show you myself. If you would like to be invited to my family tree on Ancestry that has info about the Conners and Gardenhires, send me your email address. I am kin to the Conners. I have a Pottsboro history facebook page you might want to check out and like, there will be info about them in the future on there, and there is some on there already. https://www.facebook.com/PottsboroTexasGenealogy

RE: William Gardenhire
I don't think I am kin to him, but I have done some research on all the area families, because I think the Conners, Gardenhires and my Daniel family all came together from Missouri here to Grayson co TX, and I live here where they all used to live. You mentioned in one of your memorials that you didn't know about another child the Gardenhires had,but in the 1860 census their first son is a William listed that was born in 1855 and he apparently died or was gone for some reason before 1870 because he was gone from that census and they had a son named William who was only 2 years old. I have run across this with my Daniel family who lived here next to them. If the "Junior" of the family died, they would name their next son by the same name to keep it in the family line.

Amen
By the way, amen to what you said about people who get mad about sharing photos of family on the net with others in the family. I agree with you 100 percent, it preserves these things for all. I am also a relative of the Conners in Pottsboro. I live next to where the Conners, Gardenhires, and Daniels lived and next to the Brogdon cemetery.
