RE: John Price Crabtree
There's 1 cemetery, Hillside, in Purcell. I will be happy to check on this and get back to you, as time permits, over this holiday period.

John Hardegree's obit
The image that I found for his obituary came from the newspaper archives at our local library. I tried to clean it up the best I could and that is as clear as I could get it.

Mary Crabtree, Part Deux
Looking at your data, my guess is that you are referencing Mary Crabtree at the Gordonville Cemetery, Grayson County, Texas. I added a close up, but the original file was limited in size by Find A Grave at that time. Not certain that is a gain for you. I do know that this Mary was a wife of Wesley Crabtree. There are several problems:

1) That picture was taken originally in 2009. Several cameras ago. Technological advances in cameras have been made. We have better toys and better pics.
2) The stone is worn and that affected quality.
3) Find A Grave originally had limits of pixels which were a problem for everybody. Ancestry.com fixed that one (thank you very much and yea).
4) We do not live anywhere near that location.

We have spent a number of years trying to archive cemeteries so that maybe some day, a person may locate an ancestor or relative. You may want to peruse Texas Genweb or Ancestry.com if you have not already done that. Happy hunting!

Find A Grave does not have a memorial for Mary Crabtree # 2137510. Need to have the correct number and cemetery, state.

Would love to help, if possible.

Mamie Smerl
Hi Donna, I have been researching the Day family. I recently found Mamie(Day)Smerl buried in the Justin Cemetery in Denton County, TX. My grandparents and several aunts, uncles and other family are buried in the Justin Cemetery. My grandmother was a first cousin to Mamie Smerl. Have you done any research on this family? If so I would love to exchange info and old pictures. I have been to this cemetery many times and thought I knew all my family buried there. Thank you for posting this info on Mamie. Betty (Bolton) Starnes.
