Bio and Links
Bio Photo A cemetery is not a place just to bury the dead. It should be a sacred place for quiet reflection, peace, tranquility, honor, and remembrance. It is a history of people and a perpetual record of yesterday.

Love begins with a smile...grows with a kiss...and ends with a teardrop....

I will not use chalk, shaving cream, brake fluid or any other potentially harmful methods to enhance the inscriptions. Please do not use these on any photo requests I make, Thank You.

Although FINDAGRAVE can be very useful for genealogy, FINDAGRAVE as the name implies is a grave registration site not a genealogy site. I try to use this as my guide when on this site.

I will NOT add a link to a burial unknown memorial, because I am still actively looking for where the person is actually buried. This site is named Find a GRAVE for a reason.

Please do not request to add a birth date calculated from the gravestone, unless the complete age is known or listed (y/m/d). Dates that do not agree with the gravestone will be placed in the bio section. Thank You.

I Gary Boughton give you permission to use any photo I have taken if you are kind enough to give me credit for the photo, Thank You. (Everyone likes to recognized for their effort) Thanks Again.

Boughtons in St. Pauls Church Cemetery
While I am related to Boughtons through marriage as far as I can tell I am not related to the ones in this cemetery. If you wish I can transfer them all to you and you can update the memorials with the information you have found for them.

Nathaniel Bacon Memorial #45368218
Gary,
Thank you so much for making my additions to my maternal 6th great grandfather's memorial and all that you do for Fina-a-Grave. It really is so important to remember the ones that went before us.

Also, thank you for transferring his memorial management over to me. It has taken me years to find this line and I want honor their memory.

I love your passage, "love begins with a smile... grows with a kiss... and ends with a teardrop..."

Regards,
Sally Davis

James Polly, S.Frances Thomas transfers
Thank you for the transfers of James Polly and Mrs. Thomas. I am researching the 2nd Connecticut Heavy Artillery Regiment of which James was a Musician in Company I. He died in Virginia leaving behind his wife and three young children. Frances Thomas was the wife of Corporal Horatio Thomas. You have made it much easier for me(and everyone else)by creating the memorials. JIM

Belated thanks by many years - never saw these photos but from them, I was able to "piece" together the accurate transcription. This memorial documentation came just in time thanks to your excavation efforts.

Appreciatively, Philip in NYC
