Thank you for your advisory, I learned tht there was a memorial entered May 5, so I did delete the one I created.
I see that we are almost neighbors,as I am close to the Putnam County border in Westchester.
Are you familiar with the friends of The Fishkill Supply Depot and the efforts being made to preserve the so far unmarked Revolutionary War burials.

Karen,
Please take a look at the two Pottersville Cemeteries, Warren County, New York. Pottersville Old is on the west side of route 9 and Pottersville New is on the east side of route 9. Both cemeteries have a similar white fence. The new cemetery is quite a bit larger.
The photo you posted 11/18/12 on the Pottersville New Cemetery page is actually a photo of the old cemetery. The other photo, posted by Thomas Dunne on 6/1/2008 is correctly the new cemetery. In the old cemetery, the very white Hicks monument near the fence is the most obvious stone and it can be clearly seen in your photo. Please write to Find A Grave and ask them to remove your photo from the New Cemetery page. I have no idea who added "also known as Griswold cemetery" to that page, but it should also be removed. The GPS maps are correct. The cemeteries should be listed as:
Pottersville New Cemetery
US Route 9 (east side)
Pottersville
Town of Chester
Warren County, New York
and
Pottersville Old Cemetery
US Route 9 (west side)
Pottersville
Town of Chester
Warren County, New York

Thank you, Karen, for your great offer to go to the Fairview Cemetery, Crown Point, Essex, NY. We want to take your offer to go to this cemetery in September, IF, of course, someone does not take the photos of our ancestors, Bradford and Rhoba Seaman)Knapp,buried there. Thank you for your help, Karen. Find-a-grave did delete one of duplicate photos. However, when I try and request a photo of Bradford and Rhoba (Seaman) Knapp gravestones a message comes up that there is already a request in place. Is this a real request or, because of the duplicate photos, is it a tech. problem? How can we find out? Can you help with this in anyway? Thanks so much for this great help with documenting our ancestors.

Please take off your Fairview Cemetery picture from my ancestor's find-a-grave. There are two pictures both of the over all site of this cemetery and this prevents my family for being able to request a gravestone photo of our ancestor. Please. | | | Ken Hall
