Fay Carmichael
Congdon Family
Would you know if James Congdon 1765-1858 and his son James Congdon 1792-1875 also from Rhode Island fit into this same family?

They later relocated to Cedar Lake, Herkimer County, New York.

My 4th cousin Mary Moore married Roscoe Congdon 1863-1922.

Thanks, Fay

You are very welcome. Sorry it took so long, but Clovis is a 4 hour drive for us.

RE: Marion Thomas Price
I looked through my "stuff" for an obit on him, I don't have one. It must have been the original creator of the memorial that posted the part about the obit. I do, however, have a Drexel (MO) history book and found a small reference to him with his family's story. It states - "Marion Thomas Price, born 12-4-34 died 10-30-54 in Yokoshuka, Japan while serving in the United States Navy". Another part says "Four of the six sons served in the US Military, Wilbur, Grattan and George in WWII. Wilbur was a prisioner of war for six months after he was seriously injured. Marion was in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict where he died." I'm sorry I'm not much help. But feel free to use the picture of his stone if you like. If I do come up with anything else, I'll let you know.

My one connection to Bushong is from 1977, I think. My VW was stolen and taken to the missile silo and burned! Bd

Nope, Emporia! This stuff just seems to interconnect.... I'm looking for one thing and find ten others, it seems. Thanks for updating! Becky

Photo Request for Mildred Frasusre
Hi Dianne -

There is another memorial for Mildred Frasure under the following number #116295487.

The name on the memorial is Mildred Frasure Bird. There is a photo for her as well as her husband. If this is the person you were hunting for, please delete your photo request.

Albert Cecil Hamacher photo request
I saw your photo request for Albert Hamacher. He is actually buried at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery and has a grave photo posted.

RE: Coats & William Seitz
It might be sometime before I get back up that far north but I'll keep Coats in mind.

I walked all of Allen Cemetery today and could not find a marker for WILLIAM SEITZ. Thinking it is unmarked since the obit said he was buried there. I did a check of Admire Cemetery for him too but no success.
