I hope I have not offended anyone by adding their loved one to Find A Grave. I adopted this project as a gesture of love and respect for family & others who have passed on. If we fail to talk about our ancestors, they are forgotten. On the other hand, if we talk about them & search for answers, they will live in our hearts & minds forever.

I have no problem with anyone using my Find A Grave photographs. If you intend on putting them anywhere else on the internet then give proper credit when using one of my photos: don sanford - Indiana

Do not download & repost any of my photos onto memorials you create!

I will be glad to link memorials and add info to the bios upon request via edit, make a suggestion links.

Please follow Find A Grave guidelines prior to requesting memorial transfers.

I had one person late 2014 within a month's time send me over 650 SAC's by going through my entire file looking for any and every mistake. T

Do not come at me ans start citing the rules on how memorials are suppose to be. My work on this web site is exactly as i want it and I could care less what you think or want it to be!!

If you do not like what i have done then change the channel!. On the other hand for those decent contributors out there and yes there are still a few left, if you have info to add into the bios please send it to me The same applies to family links.

Walter Carter
I searched through the Gardens of Faith Cemetery this summer to fulfill photo requests, but missed seeing Walter Carter. If you wish to call the cemetery office for the location of his marker, I would be glad to go back to that section of the cemetery to try to locate and photograph it for you. LShue

Memorial# 34193492 John Foland
Hi Don
I noticed the dates on John Foland's headstone were wrong. Birth would be 1806 Death May 18 1856.
If you enlarge the photo you can see the date.

Edit request for Evelyn Brown at Forest Hill
Your two edit requests for Evelyn are currently on hold. There is a grave marker for her, but no information that she is deceased. Consequently, no additional identification information will be added to her memorial page; it's a safety thing. Your requests will be deleted in a week or so.

Fletcher family links
Thanks for making the links. Appreciated!

I found a cemetery in Missouri that is in dire need of fixup by the Union County crew. If only. I'm
going see if I can find a like organization in Missouri and ask that they put that cemetery on their list. I'll send a photo to you then you can tell me if, in your photographing of grave stones, you have seen any worse. I think it is among the top of disaster cemeteries. It is so sad.

Thanks again. Janet

Carolyn Johnson
Hey Don, On your memorial #32865509 for James Matther (Matt) Honeycutt. It should be James Madison "Matt" Honeycutt. On his daughter Maggie Hudson death certificate it give father as James Madison. Also he is the son of Elizabeth Honeycutt still do not know who his father was. I really appreciated all the good work that you are doing.

Thanks Don, I think you are correct. Since I don't have time to confirm all of the edits I am going to do the same thing as you. They need to send a source for their info. It's a good Idea but Find A Grave needs to refine it.

Swan Rouse #149765287
Thanks Don for the parents names of Swan L. Rouse memorial #149765287. I have linked them up.

I could not Accept your information on this new edit system without accepting all of the edits. I do not like this new system, I think it is allowing all kinds of incorrect information to be posted on the memorials and I just don't have time to research every bit of information suggested to me with no source for it.

I think information should be sent through the suggestion tab and people should let us know where the information came from. Sorry for the gripping.

Thanks for all your Find A Grave work

Monday Cemetery, Union County, TN
Don, There is a Monday Cemetery posted on Find A Grave. There is only one person listed and that person's dates are "Unknown." The location of the cemetery is "Union County." I asked the person who created the memorial about where the cemetery was located (no map for location) and she never responded. I'm wondering if this cemetery survey is in a book from which she copied the one burial. Or are there more burials in that cemetery? I have several Mondays who were in Union County and cannot find burial locations for them. Are you aware of any book that has the Monday survey of interments?
