Thank goodness it is time to update my bio. Less than two years ago when I first joined Find-A-Grave, I was having trouble just identifing my grandparents! But now I can proudly say not only do I know now who they were, but I actually have photos of some. To me this is a miracle, I have discovered living DeLoach relatives that were unknown to me and through their kindness the puzzle has finally come together. So I want to send special "Angel" kisses to: Sybil DeLoach Safrit, David W. Day, Linda DeLoach Pitts and Brenda DeLoach Blount. And if not for Pamela C. Kelley and Sue Smith Ferranti in AL the branches of my Smith family tree would almost be bare. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me my past. I love you Edmund, thank you for allowing me the time and understanding my need to do this. Susan
P.S. I just want to say thank you to those who took the time to stop & leave flowers & notes for my Mom: Mildred B. Franklin, my Dad: James C. DeLoach, his brother: Fred D."Junior" DeLoach & my sweet Mother-in-law: Ana Maria Uribe. If you have a minute please stop by & visit my best friends Bonnie T. West & Desiree Holliday. Special prayers to angels, Sherrice Iverson and Joella Reaves who were taken far too soon. Please visit the memorial left for Eugenia B. Day by her husband of 42 years, David W. Day. "Jeanie" was a beautiful woman with a zest for life, she is loved & missed by her family so much. David has become a very good friend,(also my 4th cousin, once removed) helping me trace my Georgia roots and providing me with so many photos that have helped connect me to my ancestors. Thank you, David. God Bless All of You!

Matida Deloach Partain Hi Susan, I came across this and was wondering if you knew who Matilda's parents were. I am a relative of the Deloach family also. I noticed on my genealogy that I did not have her parents. I appreciate your efforts on this website.
Day Family in the Valley Grove Baptist Ch Cem in Thomaston, GA The family recently cleaned the absolutely beautiful White Georgia Marble monuments and they shine ! I posted new photos to their memorials and I thought you might like to delete your older ones and use these. I know your previous photos were taken by family and if you pull the photo onto your screen then repost them your name will appear. Let me know and I will delete mine to give you room for more family photos. The order of photos on some memorials should be changed to give the most beautiful presentation. Please use any photo I have posted as if it were your own. Family belongs with family !
Albertus Lee Deloach Jr He was survived by his wife, Agnes Rawls Deloach; two sons, Bentley Deloach and Bill Deloach; two stepsons, Herman Deloach and Bert Deloach; and one stepdaughter, Leone Moore.
I am confused about the step children. in the 1940 census..it just showed as children and a wife of Helen Gray-Deloach. I am trying to collect the information for my tree..and also for Ed S Gray III..who is searching for the same information. my email is: firstname.lastname@example.org
The 1940 census..shows the 3 children as mentioned here..and also living with the family is an Uncle Herman Talton and Wife Agnes listed as Aunt.
Memorial #17645264 Hi - I have received notification from another Contributor that I have my memorial for Missouri Frances BROWN (#71518460) linked to the wrong mother. I currently have her linked to your memorial for Sarah Jane (WORTHINGTON) BROWN, #17645264. You give the dates for her 23 AUG 1839-26 NOV 1910. Sarah Jane WORTHINGTON married 28 DEC 1848 in Upson County, Georgia, to John Baswell BROWN. She could not have lived until 1910 because he married second on 20 SEP 1887 in Upson to Mrs. Penelope (MARTIN) BURSON, a widow. You may note that a memorial has been created for Sarah Jane BROWN (wife of John BROWN) with dates 26 APR 1833-13 APR 1887, accompanied by a photo of the grave monument - see Memorial #116462927. It seems clear that this is the grave marker for Sarah Jane WORTHINGTON, wife of John Baswell BROWN. So I'm wondering - where did you get the dates posted on your memorial for Sarah Jane? Thanks! - John http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&GRid=104381111&MRid=46870015&
