I am a working mother of five who enjoys genealogy in my "spare" time. I also enjoy digitally repairing and enhancing old photos. I became a find-a-grave contributor because I love to share the info I find with others. | |

 | RE: Frith I know the cemetery well. Rachel Prillaman Dyer was the originator. She was my great great grandmother. I have heard it called King Cemetery or Henry Cemetery, but never the named you called it. Where did that name come from?
Cemetery notes and/or description: This cemetery was originally part of land owned by Rachel Prillaman Dyer, then owned by J. Lee King. A small part of the cemetery was purchased by Ryland Goode and contains graves for the Goode and Ramsey families. [Edit Description]

 | RE: Jacob Crater (Creter) 1740-1785 Jenepher, Thank-you. I am understanding that there is not necessarily records from the cemetery that he is buried there? I appreciate your giving me the source to confirm what I had found somewhere else. CindyAdded by Cindy B on Jan 25, 2013 5:12 AM | | | Cindy B
 | Jacob Crater (Creter) 1740-1785 Jenepher, So sorry to bother you. As I continue to fill in blanks for my Crater line, I would like to confirm some details. You have Jacob Crater (Creter) 1740- 8 Jan 1785 buried @ Fairmount Presbyterian Cem. in Fairmount, Hunterdon, NJ. Son of Morritz & Elizabeth. You do not show a stone--can you tell me where your info. came from? I have read (as your listing says) that he was an "imbecile", but have one clue that said he married a Catherine Young. There were so many Craters, so this may be wrong. Would you kindly confirm your info. since there is no headstone? Thanks so much, CindyAdded by Cindy B on Jan 24, 2013 8:04 AM | | | Cindy B

 | Martha Hairston Hunter Thank you for building this memorial! Just as a matter of interest, I have found this burial site in several old texts as "Graves Knob Cemetery". Would that make sense to you? I will be linking her daugher, Mary Bassett. She had the reputation of being a real pill! Annie Jaech | | | | [View all messages...] |
